It was clean and very nice with newly renovated kitchen and bath. Bathroom does not have an outlet. Host provided filtered water, breakfast oatmeal, and coffee. Kitchen needed hot pads for taking hot things out of the oven. This home is on a busy main road--you can hear cars going by all night which could be problematic for light sleepers.
Over all a great place to stay, close to everything; food, arcade, gas stations, to the city. I gave it a 3 start for check in because they gave us the wrong code online but was quick when we called them. I would say if you don't like hard pillows i would bring your own if you can! But overall I would stay again!
This was a great property for my son and me for a long weekend. I was able to get some work done comfortably from the desk in the living room and good WiFi. I really appreciated Alexâs good communications. Thanks!
This property is well taken care of. Just big enough for the four of us! Everyone had there own space to just hang out. Everything was just as described. Alex was amazing & answered my questions promptly. The parking spot out behind the house was awesome to have, didn't have to fight or find parking when returning to the home; a bit of a tight squeeze; but it was definitely a blessing to have that parking spot! The neighborhood we stayed in was super cute. Neighbors were friendly. We made our way in and around Chicago with everything we had planned to do. It was a nice weekend away with my little family. We would definitely stay here again! :)
This was a very enjoyable stay for everyone on our party, we had plenty of space for everyone. I also loved how they were so tentative and left some items for us to cook our own breakfast as well as some snack, that was very handy. You find everything you need for a long stay. Now, there are two tenants on the same property (this is like a triplex) and I'm not going to lie, I was worried about it before we got there but please be worry free; they both have their own entrance and you hardly see them, we only saw one tenant once when we got there late one night but that was it and they're so quiet you don't even notice there are other people living there. There are many stores so close to the house that you could easily walk to the a grocery store close by and there are plenty of restaurants too.
Nice little house with a full kitchen and nice front yard
A very comfortable two bedroom first floor house with a full kitchen and laundry facilities. The kitchen had everything you would want and we made use of making breakfast and lunches there while my daughters were at a music festival at SeekGeat stadium. It is very close to public transportation - about a block walk to the 307 bus line. The JewelOsco is right across the street which made for easy shopping. Just a short walk to Starbucks, Dunkinâ and restaurants made for a nice walk and beautiful mornings to eat outside on the table and chairs after we would take our food back to the house. The living room is comfortable and easily had room for all 3 of us to sit and watch TV. The neighborhood is cute and feels very safe. When coming in at night, the outdoor lights were all lit and made it safe parking in the alley. I also was very thankful to negotiate a late check out.The only negative thing - it says it is a single floor âapartmentâ, which is accurate when you know that there is someone living upstairs. My daughters were a little uneasy about that and we only found out after we read the hosts message the day that we were checking in. However, we never heard or saw the man upstairs, so it all worked out fine.
I am semi-retired IT professional traveling the world, and needed to stop in Chicago. Alex and Alex were both attentive and kind during my stay. The decor of the apartment was sleek and modern in close proximity to grocery stores, bus stops, and parking for those that drive. I was focusing mostly on completing some personal administrative tasks as well as some of my freelance work, and it was the perfect place to quietly get my work done.
The great benefits are this place is close to great Restaurants, two zoos, Parks, Michigan Lake shore, Venues, Shopping Centers, O'Hare and Midway Airports, Soldier Field Stadium, Aquarium , Willies Tower (Sky Deck), WaterTaxi, Navy Pier, Rental Boats. We have the best Pizza ever.
