Carolina is an amazing host and goes above and beyond to provide her guests with all the little extras you may have forgotten from bug spray and after sun care to coffee pods and phone chargers. Her place is clean and right in the middle of the island so it’s easy to go to Punta Sur or to the beach in Playa Norte. You are close to groceries and lots of restaurants and bars. Would highly recommend!!

A Mexican Community-Isla Mujeres

We love Isla Mujeres! It provides an opportunity to live with the amazing people of Isla Mujeres. We enjoyed our contacts on Isla as this location made it easy to travel the whole island. Nice walking around the neighborhood, stores and restaurants close by. Thank you Carolina for hosting our stay, you made it so easy.

Awesome Condo

Stayed at Looh-beh for 4 weeks no issues with this Condo what so ever. Clean well organized place all what you need for a great vacation. Everything is close by market down the street fresh produce and great restaurant down the street and the famous Oscars within 5 mins of walking. King size bed that you don’t what to get out of. And of course Carolina a great host ready to answer all your questions and needs promptly

Lovely quaint little place!

From the moment we walked in, we feel like we were home! Carolina has everything and more to make your stay comfortable and while we talk comfort…we never wanted to leave the bed. Most comfortable bed we have ever slept on in Mexico. Loved walking, restaurants, stores all easy access! Caught the bus daily a block away. We honestly did not want to leave! Thank you Carolina for sharing your home🌴☀️🌮

Isla Casa Carolina

One of the better equipped condo I rented. Stacked kitchen, beach towels/chairs/umbrellas, bikes, everything was there. Located in mid Island, it was close to small fruiterias and fresh juices vendor while only a 20 min walk to Chedraui. We ran the bikes daily to do the tour of the island, very convenient. To be a perfect stay, the rooftop could have used some more comfortable furniture but the view for the morning coffee or sunset was quite nice. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Carolina’s Casa.

Host was amazing. Allowed early check in. Was very responsive in a timely manner with concerns. Room was as described. Great for short stays, would not recommend for long term stays. Issues with water for 2 of our 5 days, but was addressed quickly. Pool was not swimmable entire stay.

Lool-Beh Condos are located mid-island in a quiet neighborhood, away from the crowded streets but only a 2 minute walk to catch a bus or a cab. The condo had everything I needed for a comfortable five-day stay. Great rooftop sunset views. A quick walk through the neighborhood and you'll find local convenience stores, fruit and veggie stands, homemade tacos, a park, restaurants and cantinas. I liked being able to escape the hustle and bustle of El Centro to a more peaceful residence. Carolina and Roberto are great and answered all of my questions. I would definitely book another stay here!

Fun times in Isla Mujeres

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo met all needs and had enough supplies to cook and then some. We were concerned upon arriving about how far from downtown we were, but fortunately there is a bus at the main road to take you wherever you want to go which we used daily. We enjoyed the little pool but it malfunctioned midway through our stay which unfortunately did impact our stay, but Carolina was on it immediately and it was being fixed as we left. It’s small but refreshing and we used it often before it was out of commission. The bikes and the rooftop were a bonus as well. We brought drinks and chairs up numerous evenings. Overall if you can climb stairs and don’t mind being out of the downtown area, I highly recommend and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Carolina had excellent communication and a lovely, well stocked condo. Oh ya, the bed is strangely very high(I’m short lol) but one of the comfiest beds that I’ve slept in!

Pleasant experience

We had a great stay on Isla Mujeres. Carolina's apartment was very nice and clean. I was surprised at the amount of items available for use there was. Beach everything, soaps,shampoos, lotions,toys, chairs, umbrellas. Kitchen has practically any cooking item you may need. Shower was lovely. There was a short power outage while we stayed, but it was no problem-there are lanterns! The location is pretty central, so it took a little while to get to Punta Sur or Playa Norte. Isla Mujeres is not huge, so that didnt bother us at all. We used golf carts and taxi access was easy. The only thing there was a slight issue with was the wi-fi internet connection wasn't linking to internet. Not a big problem for us as we didnt need it that bad. Im sure it would have been an easy reset if I contacted Carolina or Roberto. Overall it was a great place to stay. I highly recommend it and we hope to stay again next time on Isla Mujeres! :) Thank you Carolina!

Our first negative review in 20 years on VRBO by long term retired travellers

The property listing does not accurately reflect this property. The entire condo building is in a state of disrepair, which was confirmed by various disgruntled owners during our 1 month stay. The area always smelled of raw sewage after every rain storm. The front of building was always covered in trash from stray dogs ripping open the surrounding garbages. The exterior was stained and covered by peeling paint and bird droppings. The pool was discoloured with high levels of chlorine making it unusable. The rooftop patio was dirty with an old peeling patio set and dirty nonfunctional bathroom. The so-called unit patio was just a stairwell that all tenets used to get to the roof. The condo itself was clean and well stocked for guests but furniture was very uncomfortable. We never used the bikes for concern with tracking in bird droppings or dog feces from the local roads. We were also without WiFi 2 days, a TV 12 days, a leaking AC 3 days, and window flooding during a rain storms. In all our years of travel, we definitely would not recommend this property.

I am sorry that your visit coincided with a hurricane on the island. This definitely made the conditions less enjoyable. Unfortunately, natural disasters that cause issues with flooding and the pool requiring intense treatment as well as birds seeking shelter is part of the adaptation to extreme weather. The electrical surges also caused damage to the devices. These were fixed as quickly as possible, once we had your permission to access the unit. I have a lot of empathy for the stray dogs and cats on the island and really miss Isla Animals. The trash usually goes in the bin and many neighbours leave food out for the stray animals. They are sweet and kind creatures and just need some love. My home is in a colonia, a neighbourhood with many kind people and great food and a beautiful walking path around the Salina. It is a place to experience the kindness of the people of Isla and enjoy the real culture of Mexico. To enjoy the vibe, you must go outside and enjoy and explore. I am sorry it wasn't to your liking. The property was more than expected. super clean. With an air conditioner in both bedroom and living room as well as ceiling fans unit was very comfortable. The king bed was super comfortable. Caroline made sure there was plenty of drinking water for our stay. She was there to help with any situation that came up ....super cool lady. The bikes were great to ride around and explore. We stayed for a month lots of space for clothes. There was a tv with netflix..which we didn't have time to watch much. we walked just about everywhere except for punta sur or punta norte. we rented a golf cart for a couple days the rest we used a taxi or bus which were plentyful.. whichever came down the street first. The swimming pool was and excellent way to cool off everyday . we sat up on the roof every night and watched the sun set. Very safe neighborhood. walked without worry day and night. Restaurants and store are closer than it looks on google earth. Taxi drivers don't know exact addresses so we used local businesses as a drop off and pick up point. when you book Caroline will give picture's of business' a block away taxis will know where these are more than street addresses., Overall will give a 11 out of 10. would stay again in a heartbeat.
