Gatlinburg Cabin Close to Downtown | 2 Bedroom Vacation Rental
Youâre just a quick stroll from downtown Gatlinburg when you stay at Summer Song. If walking is not your thing, hop on the trolley just one block from this cabinâs front door and catch a ride to all of the sights!
Youâll also enjoy a partial mountain view as you soak in the hot tub or grill out with friends and family while the washer and dryer units in the cabin take care of the clothes you wore on all of the dayâs adventures. Relax with free WiFi and the two cable televisions, and then sip some wine in the large Jacuzzi tub before falling into a comfortable bed in one of the cabinâs two bedrooms.
This cabin has absolutely everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable stay in the Smokies in a true mountain cabin built in beam and mortar tradition. Sit in front of a toasty fire in the wood-burning fireplace while coffee brews in the fully equipped kitchen. Youâll be amazed that this cabin experience is so affordable, and youâll be sure to book Summer Song again and again.
While Summer Song sleeps 2-4 people, donât let that stop friends and family from coming along. Rent one, two, or three of the neighboring cabins: Autumn Mist, Springtime Retreat, and Winter Haven.
It was right in town so it was very easy to get to but just far enough off the beaten path to not hear all the traffic. Everything was clean and comfortable. I do enjoy seeing the bears at a distance but thought this close to town we wouldnât, I was very wrong. I came out on the porch and a young one was walking down the lane between the cabins. He didnât do anything, just wandered off. We saw him a few other times but he was never aggressive. The photos make it look smaller than it actually is, itâs not huge but itâs not small either. We really enjoyed our time there.
Check-in was super easy, received key box code several days in advance of stay. Full kitchen, including coffee pot, blender, toaster and microwave. Dishes, silverware, dishwasher detergent and dish soap provided. Plenty of towels and the hot tub was chef's kiss. We parked at the cabin and walked everywhere - we were at the main strip within 10 minutes. If you're walking, wear good shoes and be prepared for a little hill work on the way back (we're in our mid 40s and had no trouble with the walk to and fro). Overall, an excellent experience. 10/10 recommend.
The positives - Check in was very easy. The location was beautiful in the woodsy area. We had a bear run around our cabin yard twice. Although the walk to town was much longer then expected and the trolley is a long wait. The secluded area was really pretty and we liked not having people around us. The cabin hot tub was nice, and having a full kitchen was convenient. The negative was the cabin is very outdated and bare. Everything is very old and worn. There were barely any lights so it was legitimately hard to see anything in the bedrooms. I didnât realize how frustrating that would be. The washer/dryer is VERY loud. And the lack of extra pillows/blankets was inconvenient. The beds were uncomfortable and so squeaky. The headboard was barely attached and would sway and squeak as you move. The indoor jacuzzi was a waste and it would be better to have a half bath in there. It didnât come with any extras we had to get all our own supplies - it was more like Glamping if you are okay with that. Wifi was almost unusable, it was faster using my phones hotspot.
Very nice cabin with an off the beat location but close enough for a quick walk. Cabin was perfect for me and my husband not a lot of bells and whistles but we save that for the Marriott. Hot tub was great but you can hear it kick on at night. Enjoyed our stay and would stay here again!
Les points faibles : Communication et exactitude de lâannonce
Outdated cabin
Cabin had a whole in screen, knob on door was loose, dryer was rusted, & commode had marks on it, discolored, commode seat needs replacements & something broke me out in hives! WILL NOT USE EVER AGAIN! FALE ADVERTISING!
My husband and I went to Gatlinburg for a short getaway birthday weekend. We really enjoyed our stay at Summer Song Cabin. The location was great. The privacy was great. We enjoyed the hot tub, grilling out and the fire place at night. The only thing I think needs improvement is the lighting in the master bedroom and there needs to be a fan. Hope to return at some point.
This location is absolutely great for Gatlinburg. You do not need to worry about parking or traffic in the Village and all the attractions, as you can just walk down the hill to everything. It's also far enough from the main road to avoid a lot of noise and have some quiet. Lester and his wife were great, as well, and met all of our needs. Very cozy!
The cabin is super cute and cozy. It's conveniently located to everything we needed. It's tucked away enough from downtown that it felt very secluded. Checkin and checkout were very convenient, and the cabin had everything we needed.
Quaint cabin for the perfect couples getaway. Perfect location, just minutes from anything. Excellent communication. The only thing we needed was closet space. Not a deal breaker. Will definitely stay here again.
Location is perfect for exploring Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Cabin is adorable and we really enjoyed the hot tub after walking all day. Property owner was very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful place right off the main roads of Gatlinburg. Still plenty of privacy and quite. Everything was perfect. Definitely recommend for someone vacating in Gatlinburg. Good natured and polite hosts
Very cute cabin. I believe guests need to be reminded NOT to feed the bears. The cabin next to us was dumping fruit over their balcony. The bathtub did not drain; would fill up just getting the water temp ready to get in. Air filter for the central air needed changed.
It was relaxing and peaceful. And you wouldn't have to drive anywhere to see bears, all you have to do is walk out on to your balcony. We'll definitely be renting this cabin again.
We had a great time staying in Summer Song Cabin. Great mix of the feel of being in the mountains, while still being within walking distance of all the Gatlinburg fun! Plus, a hot tub to relax in at the end of the day!
Perfect location. Wooded area with Mountain View, but close enough to grab the free trolley into Gatlinburg. Clean. Easy parking. Quiet and comfortable.
My wife and I enjoyed our brief 2-day stay here. We experienced no issues, and we would not hesitate to stay here again if we returned to the Gaitlinburg area.
