This modern and simplistic designed apartment offers access to Teche River, located on a beautiful old property with bald cypress trees and live oaks in a great natural setting. The Guest house Offers a King Bed, 70inch TV, Shower that will leave you feeling like you have been at the spa. Other amenities include an attached covered patio, Wifi, full Kitchen, and your own personal driveway.

Mack was terrific to work with when some issues arose at the property during our stay. Great bathroom, comfortable mattress, we also liked the extra desk for workspace as we were working remotely while exploring the area. Also, want to give a shoutout to The Sandbar, nice local bar with great staff. We enjoyed hanging out there a few times and chatting with locals.

This was our first time staying with Heather and Mack. They set the standard for what a rental experience should be- responsive, thoughtful and genuinely welcoming. We will definitely tell our friends about this lovely place and will visit again when in the area!

This was our second stay, and it was just as wonderful as the first! I work in Morgan City a few times a year, and this Patterson gem is the perfect distance for a quick commute. The layout is ideal for a single traveler or a couple, with a surprisingly spacious kitchen, living area, and bathroom.We especially appreciated the high-end touches like the large TVs, the laundry area, and the relaxing whirlpool tub. Having a fantastic local grocery store just a few steps away is a total game-changer; the kitchen is so well-equipped that we were able to cook great meals and save on dining out. Communication with the host was top-notch and incredibly helpful. It’s the ultimate spot for a productive yet relaxing work-stay!

Excellent accomodations

We felt welcomed by Mack and Heather, but our privacy was very respected. We loved being on the water and enjoyed sitting on the dock in the early morning. The accommodations were very clean and well kept. Great location in relation to the places we wanted to visit!

Getaway in the middle of it all

Review for Patterson LA

If you are looking for a central place to stay so you can visit the surrounding areas, i.e. New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, then this is the spot. A updated cottage with 1 bedroom, kitchen, diningroom, a huge bathroom with washer & dryer. You have your own separate driveway from the host's main house. The shared covered patio beautifully lit at night was a excellent place for grilling. There is a private hot tub located in the back overlooking the bayou. Lots of great food around. The host and hostess provided us w lots of great info as to where to dine and shop while there. 10 out of 10 i would stay there again.

Nice weekend stay

We were in town for a party. The location worked great for us. Clean and functional. Would have liked to have shower gel provided but we worked it out. Also left some cotton pads and Qtips for next visitors

Beautiful Guest house

We chose this location to explore southern coastal Louisiana. There is not much to do in Patterson itself but it was a very safe location. The guest house is top notch. It is close to the main road but it was still quiet. The hot tub and water are accessed through the owners backyard. Captain Caviars swamp tour was the highlight of our visit to Louisiana! It is just down the road a bit from the guest house.

My cousin and I found the guest house beautiful, as well as color coordinated throughout. It was very comfortable and clean with fresh sheets. Large tv’s in both the den — that the kitchen opened into — and bedroom. The king bed was very comfortable, something that was a bonus since I don’t always find beds that way! The bathroom was large, with a washer and dryer. It was well appointed and included a walk-in shower. There was a covered patio with table and chairs just a few feet from the door which we enjoyed as well. The one and only downside was that you couldn’t see the water from the guest house or patio outside. In order to see and reach Bayou Teche you had to walk around the main house, though it was a short walk to the water. There was a wonderful pier over the water. While we didn’t fish you could see them jumping! There were also comfortable lounge chairs that we set up on the dock, enjoying the water and scenery. So very quiet and peaceful. :) Heather and Mac were wonderful hosts, giving you complete privacy but available should you need to talk with them. In all a very pleasant stay!

Born and raised in Louisiana, enjoying the beautiful Bayou Teche and relaxing in a lawn chair while watching the water and wildlife is peace like no other. My husband and I love meeting people and hearing their stories. We have always dreamed of owning a Bed & Breakfast.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Patterson is centrally located one hour from New Orleans (Home of Jazz), Lafayette (Cajun Country) and Baton Rouge (home of the LSU Tigers) on the Beautiful Bayou Teche. We have a local grocery store (Cypress Point) directly across the street from the Airbnb (7 am-7pm) Local Favorite: Directly across the street is Brodie's Cafe for delicious BBQ and Creole Food. (Menus in the Airbnb) Super Walmart is two miles away. We have Cajun Seafood restaurants, Cajun Meat Market (Black Kettle) and The Atchafalaya Golf Course and Idlewild Restaurant is 1/2 mile away. The Chitimacha Indian Museum and Cypress Bayou Casino is located in Baldwin 20 mins away. Our personal favorite, for fine dining, a 5 Star Steak House meets French Cuisine, Mr. Lester's is located inside Cypress Bayou Casino. (Reservations Suggested open Thursday thru Saturday)
