Cozy River Retreat/ Getaway - 10 min from Sequoia National Park

This river retreat is nestled on the South Fork of the Kaweah River and is minutes from the entrance to Sequoia National Park. This cozy retreat is a newly renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bath ranch style home. Its open floor plan joins kitchen, dining and living areas for gathering and relaxing after a day at the park or lake. Our home has established oak and redwood trees on half acre with a path to the river in back. Relax to the rushing river (November to June) and wildlife sightings from the deck.

Amazing stay, very comfortable, loved everything that was offered at this house, including extra towels, bed sheets, warm blankets, etc... It was an amazing place to stay at after a long day at Sequoia National Park. It was truly our home away from home. Will definitely go back to this lovely serene home.

Perfect getaway

Inside and out, this home is immaculate and every detail taken care of for our stay. The location is ideal for taking advantage of the NP and everything that Three Rivers has to offer. The only issue was the house was so nice and comfy, it was hard to leave each day and at the end of our trip.

Perfect stay!

Clean and comfortable. Recently remodeled. Lovely, comfortable beds and bedding. Flush towels, and nice soap and shampoo provided. Mature citrus trees, and friendly neighbors so we ended up making lemonade one afternoon! Great location in town close to everything. Wonderful communication with the manager and local representative. Would highly recommend and would love to come and visit again soon.

This is great property, clean, well equiped, very nicely renovated in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Strategically placed for access to Sequoia National Park. The wildlife (mainly birds) are all about...all very picturesque. Would happily stay there again.

Clean, comfortable and well-stocked

Beautiful home right next to the river, with fruit trees in the yard. The home was clean and spacious, and the walls were not paper thin unlike some other places I’ve stayed at. I also loved that it was well stocked with everything, including bug spray, coffee creamer, zip lock bags etc that are a pain to bring with you.

Home away from home

The house felt like home from the moment you walk in. It's right next to restaurants, an expensive but convenient market and gas station. You have everything you will need. I would come again to stay. Highly recommended

Loved this River Retreat

We had an amazing stay at the cozy river retreat. It was everything the listing had and more. The entire house was updated and extreamly comfortable and cozy. We got lucky with a full river which we could hear from the house. The entrance to Sequoia Nat. Park is 10 min. away and the small town of 3 Rivers is charming and had everything we needed. Thank you for an amazing trip and I hope we get to come back to this special property.

So cozy and clean

This property was conveniently located near a small market and 2 delicious restaurants. It was impeccably clean and clutter-free, a very relaxing environment. The beds were absolutely THE BEST, most comfortable beds we've ever slept on at a VRBO rental. Lots of sitting areas inside and outside. My family enjoyed using the piano, it was a PLUS in our book. The kitchen was very well-equipped and it had a very spacious refrigerator. The Full-size washer and dryer were very helpful, too! I'm looking forward to returning again!

River house

The property was very nice and we have no complaints except the towel rack in the hall. Bathroom came out of the wall and the toilet paper holder is slanted and looks like it might fall out soon. And the step between the kitchen and living area seemed unsafe. It was hard to see, and we slipped off of it several times. Otherwise, it was a beautiful place.

High end and peaceful

We loved this property and the obvious care that had been put in to making it amazing for your guests. Everything has a premium feel to it, the beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is fully kitted out, it even has a toaster which in our previous two properties on this holiday were missing. Everything worked and we could find what we needed. The garden was fantastic with so much wildlife, we saw a deer and her fawn drinking in the river the first evening! Also Turkeys, Woodpeckers, Jays, Quail, Turkey Vultures to name a few bird species... We wish we had been able to stay longer and despite the permanent super hot outdoor temperatures, the house was lovely and cool. We hope that you would have us if we came back to Three Rivers we would love to stay again thank you.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful location

This is one of the nicest vacation rentals I have experienced. It's not a fancy house, but very well furnished and laid out. The back deck is wonderful, and received a lot of use, including lounging in the creek at the back of the property. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped by people who like to cook!. Much appreciated. The only wrinkle in our stay was that the air conditioning failed with two days left in our stay. The owner and on-site manager, Nikki, were very responsive. The owner offered to refund our final day or move us to a new house. We chose the latter, and were very happy with the resolution. My only caution to future renters would be to ensure that the HVAC unit has been replaced, and not simply repaired. Unlike the rest of the house, which has been fully updated, It's well past its useful life.
