Lovely inn!
Original wide floorboards throughout. No vinyl or pergo.
Furnishings very comfortable; not cluttered or dusty.
Flexible helpful proprietors!
House is OLD and needs attention. Bed was uncomfortable. Windows had plastic covering and were not shut and not locked. The tub needs to be regrouted. Water damage everywhere.
Booked this room for our anniversary. I should have backed out when the Expedia description of a private venue was different than the Vrbo description of a shared venue. Description did say that the fireplace would be repaired 2/16. It was not. Jetted tub? Big old âout of orderâ on that too. Paid a premium rate for premium features, but they were broken.
We had a great stay. Everything we needed was there. Only issue was I couldn't do anything with VRBO on my cell. I signed in and found no links to the property information. AND, plenty of advertising to book another trip. Had to go to the local library to fire up my computer so that we could communicate with the host, Tyler. He was awesome and responded to all my communication promptly.
We will be back.
The owners have done a good job of making the property special. Unfortunately, the first floor rooms are next to the house's front door, which was extremely noisy as it is the only way to access the house. If you stay, keep that in mind. Guests were entering and exiting between midnight and sun-up, and the noise prevented me from getting descent sleep.
