Come relax with the whole family at our peaceful cottage. Rocking chair front porch, covered back deck with outdoor seating & gas grill. Spacious yard with fire pit, and swing. Above ground pool with large deck, lounge chairs .(Open Mid May-Mid September) 3 bedrooms 2 baths, well equipped kitchen, washer and dryer. Family room with Roku TV and work from any where with Xfinity High speed internet. There is a 2/1 short term rental on the same property (Grey house on the right) if you need extra space, ask about availability . Come explore Rome, we would love to have you!

Nice location in quiet neighborhood, very relaxing setting. We enjoyed watching the deer wander through the property! The space was great for our family (grandparents, parents, kid) and the house had all the amenities we needed. Kitchen was very well stocked. Host was very responsive. Would stay there again!

We arrived in the dark, so it was interesting finding the right house! It’s in town, but off the beaten path. Very close to Berry, which is what we needed. Easy drive to downtown. It was too cold and rainy to enjoy the deck and way too early for the pool, but it would offer lots of opportunity for outdoor time. Overall, great location. Giving a four out of five because the fridge was a little dirty at check in and the cabinets, while well stocked, were a bit scattered. Beds were comfortable. The bathrooms are small, but updated. Hosts are very responsive and helpful. We would stay here again.

Best stay ever!

It will be hard to find a better vacation rental than this! This place is perfect. It was so clean, charming, and had absolutely everything we needed. Most of all we loved the quiet location and the pool!

Della’s place was the perfect spot for our tennis team that came to Rome to play in the USTA Southern tournament. The two houses provided plenty of room for us to spread out and we spent our afternoons floating in the pool. We all loved it and would definitely stay again if we make it back! Everything was clean and comfortable!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

This property is conveniently located near downtown Rome and close to Berry College. It was the perfect size for our party of 5. The back deck/patio was great for early morning coffee and afternoon get-togethers. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for our visit

The house is exactly as pictured. It is close and easily accessible to all things in Rome. If we are ever in Rome again we will definitely stay in this lovely house.

weekend getaway

We enjoyed our weekend. The house was clean and as pictured. It was well stocked with kitchen items and much appreciated coffee. The linens and towels were of good quality and the beds were comfortable. The porches and decks were nice for relaxing outdoors. It was convenient to town and we had a great time shopping and dining in Rome.

Cozy place

Very nice place to stay. A little disappointed the pool was not available (nothing noted when reserving our dates). Also disappointed there where no tv's in thr bedrooms

Hi, I'm happy you liked our place. So sorry the pool was closed. VRBO must not have a place for the dates the pool is open like airbnb does. With the temp in the mid 60's during your stay I'm afraid the water was freezing anyway. We try to keep it as clean as possible year around and would have been happy to make sure it was clean, had we known you would liked to swim. We have had several ask and we make sure its available. Our place does only have 1 TV, in the family room. That is all we advertise. I'm so sorry.

Nice resting place for a busy weekend

We had such a lovely time at this charming house! The owner is incredibly thoughtful and kind. The beds are so comfy, and we're grateful for a cozy spot during the busy Ultimate Regional game weekend at Berry! Wish the weather was warmer so that we can enjoy the big pool in the backyard! Maybe next time!

Excellent location and home

My family stayed here while in town for our son’s wedding. The location to downtown Rome was perfect and easy to get to quickly. The home was clean and had updated furniture and comfortable beds. Loved the porches both in front of the house and out back. The property was beautiful with all the trees and enjoyed the privacy too. Della was wonderful with communication! We hope to stay again next time we are in town!

Great Stay

We appreciated that the property was close to downtown Rome but in a country setting. Cleanliness and bed comfort are very important to us, and the cottage supplied both. Our friends enjoyed the swimming pool, which was very clean and inviting. The large covered parking area stopped us from getting wet on the one day it rained. Everything we needed was supplied. Della and Cindy are great hosts, and we would stay here again.

Visiting Family

This was our second year staying at this location. Perfect size for the four adults and two kids under the age of four. Extremely comfortable beds, nice size bathrooms, and full kitchen make it easy to stay multiple days. Never been when the weather would allow for use of the pool, but being a pool owner myself, the setup is very nice and would be a great addition to the stay. Owners are very nice, reply quickly, and are easy to work with. Will look to book again in the future.

Property was exactly as advertised. Clean and very well appointed. I appreciated some of the considerate "little" things. ...coffee and fixings, spices and oil, first aid kit. We would definitely stay again.
