New barndominium with central heat and air, built just off the main house. It has a full kitchen, large living area, courtyard with firepit. Enjoy the large screen television with satellite Direct TV, hike the woods on 21 acres, take a hike, or simply enjoy a cold drink in the courtyard. You will be 15 minutes from Lake Somerviille, 30 minutes from Brenham and 45 minutes from Round Top, Texas. The unit will sleep 4 comfortably plus a foldout in the livingroom. We are 30 minutes from Kyle Field. Football fans are surely welcome.
It was very nice and clean. All was great except it would have been nice to have WiFi and the ability to log into streaming channels from our accounts.
We had a very short stay. Just needed a place to sleep while we were in the area but absolutely loved this place. We will absolutely do it again when we have time to enjoy it more. The home was roomier than I expected and had everything we needed. The beds were fabulous. The property was perfect and the owners were great.
This place was perfect for our group to stay while we attended an A&M game. The owner thought of all the things youâll need to be comfortable and relaxed. Heâs friendly and fast with communication too. I would stay here again and definitely recommend!
An excellent place midway between College Station and Brenham. We came for a TAMU football game and worked great. Nice to leave the busyness of CS after the game and retreat out of town. Neat, clean, and enjoyable accommodations. Kirk and Toni are awesome. Highly recommend.
We stayed here for the A & M and LSU Game. (Aggies for the WIN!) Hosts and property were PERFECT! The barndominium is new construction. Plenty of room to rest and relax. Bedding and towels were nicer than a hotel. Had a nice coffee/tea bar and supplies for s'mores for the fire pit! YES, YES, YES we would stay here again!
This is a spacious and restful place to stay, with a roomy bathroom, comfortable beds, a kitchen with all the basics and a large living space. The fire pit and chairs outside are a nice bonus and listening to the birds and goats there over morning coffee/tea was absolutely delightful.
The hosts were easy to communicate with and very friendly and helpful.
The drive to and from A&M was easy, some of it stunning countryside. (But it does take about 30 minutes.)
Perhaps the only thing to keep in mind is that we had spotty cell service there (Verizon and T-Mobile) and there was no internet. But if you are looking for a place to unplug and relax or a place to come back to after a busy day at A&M or nearby attractions, this is great!
We had a wonderful experience staying here while attending a TAMU football game. Extremely clean and loved how quiet it was so our Cadet could sleep in on Sunday. Would love to stay here again! Owners were so nice!
