Bien que nous ne soyons qu’à un kilomètre et demi de la ville de Damas, nous sommes entourés de 80 hectares de bois. (Ck. Pendant certaines périodes autorisées dans les bois en raison de la saison de chasse), vous aurez votre propre étage privé, une mini-cuisine privée, une machine à laver / sèche-linge privée, une salle de jeux, une salle de théâtre et un barbecue à charbon. Baltimore et Washington DC sont à seulement 42 miles, Adventure Park est à seulement 8 miles et Harpers Ferry est à seulement 35 miles (vous pouvez faire du rafting ou du bateau là-bas) Nourrissez notre cheval et si nous sommes ici Aidez-moi

Vous trouverez les logements très propres et confortables. Un peu de nous ... Nous avons 3 garçons et avons loué nos places sur la plage et avons pensé qu'il pourrait y avoir un intérêt pour les autres à profiter d'un séjour champêtre chez nous à Damas. Pendant votre séjour, vous pouvez avoir autant d’intimité que vous le souhaitez ou choisir de nous rejoindre dans tout ce que nous pourrions faire pendant votre séjour.

Mots-clés: Venez profiter de votre séjour avec ou sans vos chevaux. Vous trouverez les chambres très propres et confortables. Beaucoup de jeux pour les enfants et à proximité de Washington DC, Gettysburg, Baltimore et Harpers Ferry (rafting en eau disponible). Équitation à 5 minutes pour ceux qui n'ont pas de chevaux. Nourrissez et élevez nos chevaux si vous le souhaitez, Adventure Park à environ 10 minutes.(voir lien) Salle de théâtre, entrée privée. Mini cuisine, laveuse / sécheuse privée. Vous apprécierez le niveau inférieur de la maison qui mesure environ 2 000 pieds carrés et un plafond de 9 pieds avec de nombreuses fenêtres.(La cheminée à gaz ne peut pas être utilisée) Nous avons également une belle maison d'hôtes individuelle de deux chambres disponible pour 125,00 € la nuit avec une cuisine complète

Lovely Stay in Damascus

This property is beautiful on a quiet farm with horses. The space was very large and clean with comfortable beds and just about every kitchen amenity that you could imagine. Our host was very gracious in accommodating our special request. I would definitely stay here again

Great family visit spot!!

This was an amazing place to stay. We said it multiple times while we were there that it had everything we needed and the host was very responsive and accommodating and literally thought of everything! The movie room was great, toys for kids to play with, kitchen all set up, lovely fireplace and comfy couch and beds, we loved the relaxing view out the sliding doors of the horse and land and played lots of Ping pong and air hockey. Definitely would stay here again!

What a nightmare! Black mold on ceiling , wall & shower curtain in bathroom. Black wasps in entryway

Not what the pictures showed! It was very poorly maintained. Very cluttered and not enough storage for the basics such as linens and kitchen items. Bed linen was old and thread bare. Kitchen dishes looked like they came from a thrift store. No vent or fan in bathroom; also no towel rack . Missing light fixtures in ceilings and fire alarm that was disabled. The light switch for the interior was about 15 feet from the entry. The parking area was a joke! We had to park in the trees so when we came back at night it was very dangerous due to numerous tripping hazards. The light they had out there was right at eye level and blinded you so you couldn't see where you were going. There was a nest of black wasps right by the entryway and my husband was stung numerous times. The only TV hooked to cable was in the bedroom and was small and had uncomfortable seating. The bed pillows were either flat or lumpy. The furnishings were old and worn. This definitely was one of our worst home away experiences.

Serene property with all the amenities!

We can't wait to visit again! The horses are beautiful, the unit is well-appointed. We loved the games in the game room and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

Great location in a beautiful area. Numerous historical sites within a short distance. House is very comfortable and included everything we needed. Debbie was very responsive to the questions we had. Would stay there again.

Pros: This place was clean and convenient for visiting Gettysburg and Harpers Ferry with my Bffs and our kids. We enjoyed the theater room, ping pong table and outdoor grill. Cons: 1)There were guests also staying at 2 RVs and a garage apartment that we did not expect. During a pandemic, I feel that this would have been nice to know. There is a reason we chose not to stay in a hotel. 2) There was ambiguity in the directions for where guests could walk and my loved ones inadvertently put themselves in danger by walking to the pond in an area we did not realize was part of the woods where there were hunters. 3) The amenities listed a stove. The reality was a two burner hot plate with only 1 functioning burner. We were not able to make the lasagna or other meals we had planned and packed for.

Okay so me and my boyfriend stayed here for four days and by checkout i wish we had more time. The pictures she have with the listing does not do the property justice because actually being there it was beautiful!! The property was very very clean ( and with covid that is very important). We tried not to bother her alot, however when we did mrs.debbie was great, very polite, professional, and effective. She responded really quick, and kept assuring me it was no bother at all. Check-in was easy as ABC, 123. I mean her directions for parking and check-in was perfect. The times we stayed in the house, it was never a dull moment. She have so much you could do from ping pong, air hockey, card games, and OMG dont get me started on that theater!!!! That theater was everything!! It was nothing we wanted for or wish the property had cuz it was just amazing! Even tho i didnt ride "doc" (her beautiful horse) he was beautiful to look at, and very friendly. We just loved everything about this property and if yall ever get a chance to stay here it will be the best vacation. It is so peaceful,relaxing, and refreshing especially if u live in a city. It was just great!

Beautiful place!

Loved this place. We love nature, so it was so great to be on this property with the big yard, covered outdoor seating and walking trails. Comfortable beds and plenty of room for my family. Close to town to go get what you need, but far enough to feel like you were secluded. And loved Doc the horse and Cookie and Boots the cats. Great home away from home!

Quiet place in the country

We only stayed overnight and sadly didn't have time to take advantage of all the amenities. The apartment was cozy, beds were comfy, and it had everything we needed. Hats off to the hosts for open communication and flexibility with our arrival time and number of guests. We look forward to coming back!

What a find Debbie's ranch was. Debbie and her husband were so helpful and friendly. Debbie was so patient helping us get get acquainted with the TV's. We had all of the comforts of home and then some. We will definitely put Debbie's home on the return list.

Everything you need for a good size family

A little bit of heaven

Still Hopes Farm is like a little bit of heaven on earth. Total peace and tranquility if you're trying to get away from the rat race of D.C.. Debbie is the best host ever. She made us feel welcome and was attentive to anything we might need. We wished we had more days to stay longer. I will definitively recommend Still Hopes Farm to anyone visiting Maryland.

Great location - perfect for an American history trip with the family

We wanted a place for our family of six that was centrally located to a bunch of historical spots - this was it. Less than an hour from Gettysburg, Baltimore, DC, Mt Vernon, Harpers Ferry, 2 hours to Hershey, 2.5 hours to Philadelphia. Plus it was big enough with enough to do so that we could have fun "rest" days as well. Debbie was very accommodating. Our stay here was a big reason our 3-week family trip was the most memorable vacation we've ever had.

Beautiful Home

This property had everything we needed with plenty of room for our short stay while we were in the area. Absolutely beautiful setting with great accommodations! We loved the place. The theater room was great along with the table tennis and air hockey table. We are looking forward to revisiting this home again.

What a fun & relaxing place to stay!

The downstairs apartment was the perfect set up for our 2 night family gathering. Our multi-generational group consisted of 3 adult couples + an infant. We merged together from PA, CO, & MD. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, watching football in the in-home theater room (including fresh popcorn!), and visiting with their horse, "Doc". Due to hunting season, we did not venture into the wooded or pond areas of the property. It was an easy drive to Harper's Ferry where we checked in on the Appalachian Trail thru hikers that came thru after our son-in-law (Trail name = Long John). We took advantage of the beautiful weather with outdoor dining & awesome tunes playing at the-music-cafe.com

Very accommodating owner, nice family reunion location.

Our extended family stayed here while attending a wedding celebration. Very clean and neat. The parking area handled our many cars. The owner is well organized, provided beds, bedding, and linens for all, provided helpful information, and was patient with arrivals even into the wee hours of the night. The basement is huge. The cooking area is kitchenette, adequate for breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks. We found food and anything we needed at the wonderful Wegmans at Germantown, MD just a short drive away. Entry to basement is downhill, probably not suitable for a wheelchair or person with balance issues. Absolutely no complaints, would happily recommend to others.

Wonderful for the price and so accommodating!

The space was pretty awesome, with a theater room, ping pong table, air hockey, and very comfy furniture. One complaint is having the only bathroom located adjacent to the master suite, meaning that for all people not staying in the master suite, going to the bathroom in the middle of the night means going through someone else's bedroom. That being said, the place was lovely, especially for the price, and the owners couldn't have been nicer! They were on point whenever we requested something, and were very understanding. A terrific place to stay overall!

Wonderful Place to Stay and Great People to rent from

My family and I took a house hunting trip and this place was perfect for us. While my wife and I were out looking for a home, the kids and babysitter would stay here and they had plenty of entertainment. My 9 year old loved the movie room, air hockey table, ping pong table and the outdoor activities. My three year old loved all the toys, the horse, and the movie room. I can say my wife and I could take some time for our selves and watch a movie in the movie room or sit in front of the fire place once the kids went to bed. The little kitchenette was great for our needs. The couple has thought of everything a family may need or want while staying there. There is grocery stores, shopping, and places to eat within minutes of the house. This place really is a wonderful place for a family to stay where they will feel safe and at home. The property is exactly has listed, the photos and amenities are accurate, the property is cleaned and well maintain, the owners are very helpful and considerate, and I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in the DC area.

Great place to stay!

Essentially you are renting out the entire finished basement of Still Hopes Farm.. Very large with 2 bedrooms and a huge play area. Lots of toys, Foosball, ping-pong table and a complete "movie theater" room to sit and watch movies and/or TV. Very clean and well taken care of inside and out. My daughter loved all the toys and being able to pet Doc the horse and give him some apples. If we come back to the area, we would definitely look into staying here at Still Hopes, a quiet and secluded place close to everything.
