Set among rolling hills, woodlands, and a private stream, the lodge offers the perfect balance of room to gather and space to unwind. Peaceful and relaxing

The Rustic Lodge was everything we needed for our group of friends to relax and catch up in comfort. We enjoyed everything about the Lodge and the surrounding area.

Wonderful Getaway!

We loved the Rustic Lodge! The property is well kept and the view is amazing. The hot tub was super clean and enjoyable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the gas fireplace made for a cozy environment. Communication was excellent from start to finish and Eric made sure that everything was as it should be. We look forward to staying at a Knutson Property Rental on our next getaway:)

good stay. some room for improvment

had a lovely stay. only suggestions for this one are the following. If these things were addressed it would have been 5 stars:- limited cleaning supplies (washing machine soap)- beds/linen were lacking-pillows were dead-utensils and cookware were below average

Enjoyable Get-a-way

We enjoyed our stay at the Rustic Lodge and we'd stay here again if we're in the area. It is a scenic location and fairly private. Pictures online are accurate and the place is kept very clean. The property does show its age and is in need of updating, there is a new property built next door so its not completely private as it once was and the gravel road to the cabin is tight and winding. We enjoyed our time and had a completely relaxing time. As long as you understand it has its quirks, you'll enjoy your stay as well.

Great respite after each day fly fishing

There were four of us - all friends who really enjoy fly fishing the driftless region. Eric (owner) and his team were great to work with. There was a small issue with the hot tub and they called me ahead of time to give us the head's up. It resolved itself the next day. House is great and there is a large couch and chairs situated around the fireplace. Everything was real easy. Maybe a new coffee maker? :-). That one took about 20 mins to brew the coffee. We will be back. Thanks Eric!

Wonderful weekend

A group of women came out for the weekend. Eric was super responsive, easy to communicate with, and booking/check in were seamless. The house is in GOOD SHAPE. Often they'll look nice in the pictures but be rough around the edges. Not this one. It is super well cared for, was really really clean, and had everything we needed. LOVED the gas fireplace and being in the hot tub with snow all around. Easy to drive to ski and hike nearby, and the kitchen was well appointed. They responded quickly when we had a question, and when one of us forgot something they found and sent it along to us immediately. Really sweet folks, and our group is planning to come back to this specific house since we had such a good experience! Thanks so much!

Breathing taking views

We had a wonderful weekend at this beautiful cabin. We greatly appreciate your generosity. We had some troubles with the side door as it was not always easy to open and close. Alos the door by the table, we never used it, but it did leak water due to thunderstorms. 3 rolls of toilet paper wasnt enough. I had to buy more. It would be a good idea to keep at least 4 or 5 plastic shot glasses. Also needed a bottle opener. I understand why so items are not kept but its just an idea. We will most certainly be back. Thank you again. It was so beautiful, watching the vally flood was honestly really neat to see.
