Nestled in a wooded 2.72 acre portion of the owner's 22 acre property, this two-story 3600 sq ft home is perfect for up to 10 people. With an open plan design, the house allows for group cooking, dining, game playing both indoors and outside. Designed by the owner (local architect) to enjoy time with their two boys, the house contains everything you could want - a game room with video games a tv and lots of board games, a library with books for all ages, an outdoor porch to watch wildlife and enjoy relaxing - just to name a few of the features.

Located in Northern Greenville County in South Carolina, the property is a short drive to downtown Greenville Restaurants/Shopping and Falls River Park and Travelers Rest, SC and the Swamp Rabbit Trail. The area is great for cyclists, hikers, golfers, hunters and sports fans. Close to several wedding venues including Rose Springs Farm, Aurora Farms, The School House, Lindsey Plantation, Edinburgh West, Pretty Place and many more.

Several golf courses open to public play: Cherokee Valley Golf Course and Club 4 miles, Pebble Creek 6.5 miles, Paris Mountain Golf Club 7.3 miles, Greer Golf 7.9 miles, Furman University Golf Club 8.4 miles, Links of Tryon 9.7 miles.

Wedding Weekend

This was a wonderful house for my family to stay at during my daughter’s wedding. Wish we had more time to enjoy the house. Great living spaces and easily accommodated 4 couples plus a child. I will stay again if I am back in the area.

What a wonderful place to stay. The house is beautiful and more than met all our expectations and needs. It felt like home. The hosts were awesome as they communicated with us and answered any question or need immediately. We would have loved to have stayed longer to enjoy this peaceful setting. If we are in the area again, we would definitely book this place again.

Wonderful house and location

This house was large enough for our group to still feel homey but have our own space. Close enough to town it wasn’t a long drive but far enough away to be peaceful! Also we were able to get an early check in with ease and that was a huge help for our travel situation. Finally the owner was so accommodating to our large group and parking needs. We would’ve stayed longer if there was not other reservations.

Beautiful house with welcoming hosts!

The house is beautiful and well-appointed. It has a very unique and appealing floor plan with a lovely library and a long table for family meals. Our kids loved the game room and being able to pick books to read from the library. The communication from the hosts was great! They made us feel very welcome and sounded like they would be quickly available if we had any issues.

Great getaway

Property owner was very easy to contact and highly responsive to all our needs before, during and after our stay. The home was very spacious and had so many games, books and areas for retreat and gathering that it was perfect. The backyard was wonderful for the children’s games, the area was pleasant for strolling and the side yard was super for a final family soccer game. All the bedrooms were delightful and comfortable. Greenville was only 20 minutes away as well as grocery stores and some restaurants. I’d recommend!

Peacefully beautiful

The home is wonderful. Plenty of room, clean. Dishes are great to cook on. Plenty of parking. Loved the 3 seasons room. Great to spread out and a lot of seating to enjoy.

Amazing property!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. We used this property to get ready for my wedding and couldn’t have asked for a better place. Regina was extremely helpful leading up to our stay, so accommodating and amazing. The house was beautiful for photos and had all the amenities we could ask for!

Was in town for a funeral and needed accommodations for three couples. This house was the perfect solution. Much nicer than three hotel rooms for a comparable price.

Great Stay with Friends

Beautiful, immaculately clean home. Seven adults stayed in this house very comfortably. We especially enjoyed the dining table and room, kitchen (good supply of cooking tools), living room/lounging space, and back patio/porch. It is a great property, very quiet and peaceful.

Clemson Homecoming Reunion Success

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay this past weekend! We were able to have our friends and children stay under one roof, and it was a great time. The house is laid out very well, and had several spots where the kids could play during the day. This is an excellent spot for those looking for an affordable, peaceful weekend. The owners were super responsive, and the communication was top notch.

Gorgeous home in the country

Great house for a family gathering or weekend getaway. Very nicely decorated. A great place to escape from the city, but too far out for running in to Greenville. If you just want to relax and enjoy the house, it’s perfect. The owners are very easy to work with. Nice people.

One Fine Spread

This place is really nice. It has really good gathering areas, and Regina does an awesome job (she lives just a couple doors down). We had ppl from 21 to 84 yrs of age for my son’s Furman graduation and all were comfy. We wish it were a little closer to downtown (25 to 30 min…perhaps 15-20 to Furman) but we knew this going in. Really clean and roomy house. Thanks for everything!

Great Stay

This place was very beautiful and spacious. Extremely well equipped home with so many thoughtful extras. Easy check in and out process It was very clean. In a very quiet neighborhood. The host and hostess was very understanding and accommodating. They communicated with us very well. I will definitely be renting this place again when I'm in town if it's available.

Wonderful home for Groomsmen and family

Our son got married at Edinburgh West. This beautiful home is just a hop, skip, and jump away from the venue. We had plenty of room for the out of town groomsmen and family. Our hosts were so kind and helpful! Every minor "wedding emergency" that came up, they helped us solve. Lovely home! Lovely hosts!!! <3

Perfect family gathering place

This lovely home is clise to Greeneville but in a peaceful quiet setting. It is large enough for all 10 of us and we especilly loved the library area with many children's books and crayons and markers. The beds were comfortable. Everything was immaculate and in working order. Regina was very accessible and so pleasant to work with. We would absolutely come again.The informational notebook was very clear and helpful.

Perfect Family House for our Wedding!

My family stayed here while visiting for my wedding and had the most enjoyable, wonderful time. This house is definitely part of that memory! Not only was it very close to the (best) wedding venue at Edinburgh West, it had plenty of spaces for our family group to spread out. From reading books in the library, using a laptop upstairs in the office nook, hanging out in the beautiful open kitchen, watching the basketball games on the large TV, to the children playing in the game room, the house was really was perfect. Not too far away from Greenville downtown either, everything is accessible for this mountain stay. Thank you so much for everything! We will definitely be back!

Ben and Regina Urueta designed and built this home to raise their two sons on the same property where grand parents and great grandparents lived. The boys are now grown and Ben and Regina have moved to the "upper house" on the 22 acre property. Ben is a local architect and Regina has worked in education for the past 32 years. They are excited to share their spacious and open to nature home with their guests.

There are multiple golf courses, state parks, lakes, hiking trails (including the famous Swamp Rabbit Trail), wineries, great locally-owned restaurants and shopping within minutes of the home. The house is nestled in a wooded portion of the property and has beautiful natural surroundings. The home is decorated in a casual comfort style with an open plan designed to allow for group/family cooking, gathering, and game playing.
