➡️ Choose Your Protection Option ‣ Damage Waiver ($56-82 depending on length of stay) – Covers accidental damage up to $700. (No deposit hold required) OR ‣ Refundable Security Deposit ($700) – Pre-authorization only; collected 24 hours before check-in and released 5 days after checkout if no damages, missing items, or issues.
❗Please note: The damage waiver covers accidental damage only. It does not cover smoking, intentional or negligent damage, policy violations, or pet-related issues. Such costs may be charged separately or submitted through a Resolution Center. By booking, you confirm your agreement to these terms.
➡️ Rental Agreement ‣ Confirms you’ve reviewed our terms and helps us verify that all stays are safe, respectful, and fully insured.
➡️ ID & Selfie Verification ‣ A valid ID and selfie are required to verify the booking guest and ensure the safety and integrity of our home.
⏰ EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT ‣ We are strict on check-in and check-out times due to cleaning needs, but may allow up to 2 hours of flexibility with at least 24 hours’ notice. A small fee may apply and is subject to approval, as early arrivals or late departures aren’t always possible. If the home is ready sooner, we’ll let you know.
🧳 LOST OR FORGOTTEN ITEMS ‣ Please double-check before leaving. Items left behind are stored for 14 days, then donated or discarded. Coordination for pickup or return will incur a shipping and admin fee. We are not responsible for items left, lost, or damaged after departure.
📦 MAIL & PARCELS ‣ We do not have access to a mailbox at this property. Please do not use our address for receiving mail. If you require postal service, contact a local post office for options. For larger parcels, arrange door drop-off or depot pick-up. We are not responsible for retrieving, storing, or replacing any mail or packages that are lost, delayed, or mis-delivered.
🛠 MAINTENANCE & ACCESS ‣ Emergencies may require entry without notice. For non-emergencies, we will always provide notice where possible. Guests will always receive a message from us as soon as possible in all situations.
💳 CANCELLATIONS ‣ For bookings where Contigo Properties is the payment processor, a 10% non-refundable processing fee applies at the time of booking. Cancellations and refunds follow the Contigo Properties Cancellation Policy provided at reservation for these platforms. If any site displays “free cancellation,” the Contigo Properties policy takes precedence. By booking, guests authorize Contigo Properties to charge the card on file per the agreed payment schedule and acknowledge that chargebacks for authorized transactions are not permitted.

Home was not set up for 10 people as advertised. Only duvets supplied were on the 3 beds. For other 4 people, there were 2 single mattresses, 1 futon couch and 1 short sofa and NO blankets/duvets for these. Soiled used bandaid found in walk-in closet. Only 2 teaspoons and 5 tablespoons supplied. Only 7 knives. Piles of garbage left from previous renter not collected. (Left in front of house)Propane tank very low….no backup available. Lots of dog poop in back yard. Lovely home and great location on edge of huge park BUT……

We stayed for over 3 weeks and the house was wonderful. We celebrated Thanksgiving and the kitchen and dining area were perfect for the occasion! The beds are fabulous, the appliances all work well, and the lay out of the house was perfect !! The neighborhood is charming and we were 100% satisfied. As a bonus, the owners were wonderful to deal with. Responsive and accommodating! Would recommend renting from them Five stars!!

5 Star Stay!
This is a beautiful home-well maintained and cared for. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed-we loved the stainless steel appliances, all the cupboard space. We also loved the en-suite bath with the jet tub! The house has a lovely yard that looks out onto green space and the neighborhood is quiet. We appreciate all the extra touches the hosts added to make the stay extra special such as the detailed manual and the lovely folded towels. If I could give six stars I would!

Met all expectations
Great stay at Summerside, the neighborhood is a little confusing, but a convenient location to family and amenities. The property was very spacious and kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes and gadgets we needed. Great fireplace and places to gather. Yard looks great, but too much snow right now, will have to try the property in summer!

General maintenance lacking, listed amenities lacking
Hosts repeatedly asked for 5 start review even though there were several issues with the rental. They said that if our needs were met and we had a good trip overall, they should get a 5 start review and asked us not to list issues publicly, but rather only send them a list of issues privately so they could do their best to fix the issues. We sent them three issues their way which were not handled. The rest of this list we didn't send them privately, for two reasons: 1) if they were unwilling or unable to solve the most pressing issues, we had no reason to believe they would address any other issue. 2) most of the issues fall under general maintenance and care for a living space and they should be aware of the condition of the property. Here are a few issues we had: Missing frame on base of fireplaceThe bathroom fan doesn't work upstairsThe water doesn't work on the fridgeThe basement door rattles loudly everytime someone goes up or down the stairs to the second floorThere are only 5 small spoons for eatingThe Catan game and foosball table are missing vital pieces and cannot be playedThe Nintendo was missing vital pieces, broken, and useableSome window blinds don't have the stick to close themAt least two burnt out lightsThere was a hole in wall in master bedroomThere were several carpet stains in main walkways The front hallway closet for hanging jackets smells overwhelmingly of cleanerPlants in living room look like they are dying

We do our best to address guest concerns as they arise, and while some of the issues you’ve listed are minor or general wear and tear, others are certainly valid maintenance concerns that we will review with our team. That said, we regret that the specific concerns you reported during your stay were not handled to your satisfaction. We take guest feedback seriously and will use it to improve where possible.
Regarding the request for a 5-star reviews, while we hope every guest has a great experience, reviews should always reflect a guest’s honest impression of their stay. We ask for private feedback so we have the opportunity to address certain issues that may not be warranted for a public review and that we can help make things better for future guests. We are certainly not perfect, but strive to be the best we can, as evidenced by all the positive reviews!
As we are not at the property at all times, we only can fix issues we are made aware of by guests and fix them on an urgency basis as required.
