We loved the town of Meadview! Wished we could have stayed longer. The house was perfect for the 5 of us! Plenty of beds, towels and space. The host was easy to work with and quick to respond. We enjoyed the quiet location as we prepared for our 4 day backpacking trip into the Grand Canyon. Thanks again. We’ll most likely be back!

We can’t fault this property, as it is worth every penny and more! The house is immaculately clean and well equipped with everything you could ask for. The beds and sofa were so comfortable and lovely showers and bathrooms. We loved sitting on the patio in the evening and watching the stars and shooting stars. just beautiful! Not used to seeing such clear night skies coming from UK! The location was great, just 40 mins drive from west Grand Canyon with views of the Grand Canyon from the patio. We ate at boathouse cafe and grille for dinner and breakfast which was lovely. Locals are all so friendly. Tipi was an amazing host, right from the start in giving directions and check in instructions. We felt very well looked after throughout our stay. Thank you. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone who wants to experience the west Grand Canyon and perfect for families

The views cannot be matched! The house was clean and well stocked. We truly loved sitting outside in the cool desert air and stargazing when the sun went down.

Desert Home

Happy to find a nice place between Skywalk and Vegas. Screenshot your hosts info prior to getting near this area...No Cell Coverage...Wifi once in the house is great. So quiet and peaceful. Its in the wilderness but there is a gas station and a Great place to eat there. Be ready for gravel roads.

Property was as pictured on VRBO, very well stocked, clean, plenty of room for 4 adults, laundry available, perfect for our visit to the West Rim. Must eat at local restaurant , The Boathouse A, food & service.

Wonderful home in beautiful location

We stayed one night on our way from the Hoover Dam to the Grand Canyon. Tippi is a wonderful host. The house is very clean and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Make sure you go to the Boathouse Grill and Cafe which is less than a mile from the house. Thank you Tippi!

Desert Paradise

Wow! is an understatement for this fabulous property. This is a beautiful, well-appointed home. Fantastic communication with the property owner. Plus, the house it even better than advertised with everything required to enjoy this desert paradise. The only regret I have is we didn't stay the whole week. Excellent proximity to Grand Canyon West. Don't miss the kind folks at Fisherman's Landing in town. Thanks again for allowing us to stay!

Great night rest

Clean and comfy after we had a week of hiking around Sedona. We started making our way towards Vegas and this home was the perfect stop to refresh and even play some fun family games that were on site. Thank you again!

The house was everything Tippi advertise it to be! Our group wanted to check off two things on our bucket list in the Grand Canyon and Hoover dam and this property was in a great location to allow for a reasonable travel time to both. We were looking to find a nice place for a good price and when I found this listing it appeared to be exactly what the 3 of us were hoping for. The three bedrooms each had comfortable beds, the kitchen was well equipped and there were two seating areas to relax in. The house would be good for up to 3 couples to stay in or a family of six with a wonderful master bedroom w/bath and then two rooms on the other side with a bathroom for those guests.

BEST OF THE SOUTHWEST BY WEST RIM G CANYON

This VRBO is a pure delight with modern amenities and a view of the Grand Wash Cliffs to the northeast and visible from almost all windows. It is peacful and we slept great! Seeing the Milky Way and stars, planets at night was an extra plus! We also drove to the Hualapai-managed West Rim of the Grand Canyon our first day and took the bus tour. PERFECT distance and a perfect day trip. DO IT! Such a treat to experience the Meadview, AZ lifestyle for a couple of days in this comfy, clean and well-managed home. Hated to leave.

Amazing view of stars at night and house was cozy. If you want to get away from all the noise perfect place to stay. House was beautiful and family enjoyed staying in and then star gazing at night.

After almost 25 years of teaching little children, I now host our two properties in Meadview full time and teach on the side. I also teach yoga and cycling class at my little studio at home in Yorba Linda, California.

Meadivew is the best-kept secret place that offers so much peace, tranquility, and the beauty of the high desert. It's a small, quiet, retired community in the national park area that allows you to be part of nature and enjoy a simple life. Meadview is where I first heard the song of silence.

The Basin House is strategically placed so you can enjoy the magnificent sunset, the stunning view of the Grand Wash Cliffs, and the town view from both sides of the house. There is plenty of wildlife around the property; owls, roadrunners, quails, eagles, jackrabbits, etc.
