3BR/2.5 Bath in Pitchfork, pet friendly!
The Space:
This is a beautiful 3 bedroom home in the Pitchfork neighborhood of Mt. Crested Butte. Â It is 1/2 a block to the shuttle route that runs to the base area of the mountain and you are within minutes of numerous biking and hiking trails. Â This is a dog friendly property and we allow 1 dog.
The house is set up as an upside down house which allow you to capitalize on the incredible views in our area from the living room. Â On the bottom floor you will find a spacious garage, laundry room and mudroom. Â On the 2nd floor you will find the main living/dining/and kitchen. Â The comfortable living room hosts a gas fireplace and flat screen smart TV as well as a south facing balcony to enjoy your morning coffee. Â The living room has ample space to spread out and relax. Â The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, dinnerware etc. and has an adjoining dining area that seats 8 around the dining room table and 3 at the bar top. You will also find a powder room on this floor and a deck with a grill.
On the 3rd floor you will find all 3 bedrooms.  The primary bedroom has a king bed with ensuite bathroom with soaker tub and shower.  The 2nd bedroom offers a king bed and the 3rd bedroom offers 2 twins. The 2nd and 3rd bedroom share a full bath on this floor with a tub/shower combo. You will also find a pack n play for your use. Â
All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.
There is room for 2 cars on sight with one being in the garage, and one in the driveway. HOA covenants do not allow street side parking so only 2 parking spaces are available. Â Trailers and RV's cannot be parked in the Pitchfork subdivision.
Please note that on some of our marketing channels this property is showing up as having A/C. Â It does NOT nor do any of our rentals. Â Fortunately in the mountains our evening summer temps get into the 50's so simply by opening the windows you'll experience some lovely temps and nature made A/C.
NO SMOKING IS ALLOWED anywhere on the premises. Any evidence of smoke will incur fees as well.
Renters 25 years and older are welcome.
Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.
This is a pet friendly property. You are welcome to bring one dog and will be charged a separate pet fee at the time of booking. Any damage incurred by the pet will be the responsibility of the renter. Â

Parking and Vehicles: Parking of vehicles on a Lot is permitted only within Garages or designated parking spaces, except that vehicles may be parked temporarily in other areas as an expedience while loading and unloading. Personal property storage in each Garage shall be limited so as to enable the intended number of motor vehicles to be stored in each such Garage. No Persons shall park any vehicles on Outlot A, designated on the Plat, except Owners and Permitted Users of Lots 7, 8, 9 and 10. (4.6)
The following are absolutely prohibited from within the Common Interest Community and shall not be parked or stored on any street or Lot or in a Garage: Motor homes, recreational vehicles, and campers except a camper mounted on a pickup; All terrain vehicles (ATVs); Trailers of any kind; Snowmobiles; Boats, except kayaks and inflatable rafts, which shall be stored inside or outside in the rear of the Lot if such storage is neat and not visible from any street; Abandoned or inoperable vehicles of any kind. An abandoned or inoperable vehicle shall mean any vehicle which is not capable of being driven under its own propulsion or does not have current registration. (4.7)
An illegally parked vehicle is subject to towing and impounding in accordance with Town ordinances. Such action may be initiated by any Owner, resident or lessee without prior notice. Parking is expressly prohibited on any grass or landscaped area. Each parking space shall be maintained in a clean, safe and attractive condition and shall be kept free from litter and debris. No gasoline, gasohol, distillate, diesel, kerosene, naphtha, or other similar volatile combustible or explosive materials shall be stored in any parking area except in the fuel tanks of vehicles parked therein and used for transportation purposes. Owners, residents and lessees shall abide by all traffic laws within Pitchfork.

Check-in instructions to include lockbox or keypad code will be sent to you 3 days prior to your arrival at 4 pm MST
The Neighborhood:
The Pitchfork neighborhood is a nice mix of local and 2nd homeowners. There is a shuttle stop at the turnaround as you pull into the area and easily gotten to on foot from anywhere in the subdivision.
Getting Around:
Use the free shuttle that stops at the turnaround just as you enter Pitchfork to catch the free bus to the base area. From there you can catch another shuttle to the town of Crested Butte.
