The Hawkview Retreat was incredible. The house and property were beautiful. The furniture was comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The host wrote back to questions very quickly. I would highly recommend this property. Im hoping to go back one day.

An absolutely amazing place. The property was better than advertised which was hard to believe. Everything was simple like check in and out and property management was very responsive. Had 22 people for a reunion and they raved about the property. I couldnt recommend it more highly. A diamond in the rough :)

Beautiful House

We had such a great stay at this house! The property itself was absolutely perfect — beautifully maintained and equipped with every amenity you could think of. It truly felt like a home away from home, with plenty of space and so many thoughtful touches that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side during our visit, but honestly, it didn’t take away from the experience. There was so much to do inside the house that we still had an amazing time. Whether relaxing, enjoying the indoor amenities, spending time together, or simply making the most of the space, we never felt bored or disappointed. If anything, the house itself became the highlight of the trip. We’d happily return and would love to experience it again with better weather next time! Highly recommend.

A fantastic luxury week of family vacationing.

With sleeping accommodations for 25+, a heated outdoor pool (with 2 hot tubs), a 16 seat movie theater with electric lounge chairs, a fully equipped arcade room, and a fully stocked kitchen/pantry - what was not to love. Several of my 14 grandchildren told me “bast vacation ever!!” The whole experience was priceless!

Great weekend with family and friends

We had an great weekend with family and friends. The Hawkview retreat was truly at the center of this amazing experience. With 11 kids, they were entertained the entire time. The game room, theatre, hot tub, and sports in the yard. The adults enjoyed pickleball, cooking in the kitchen, outdoor fireplace, and wine in the nook. Hiking trails at hawk mountain were good for all ages. Beautiful view and relaxing setting.

Three-peat!

This is our 3rd summer at the Hawkview and we will continue to return. A perfect retreat for our large family. Plenty of room to be together, yet spacious enough for everyone to spread out and have their own spaces. Jeff is the best. His property managers are the best. His cleaning team the best. Highly recommend!!!

Great stay in a beautiful home

We had a wonderful stay in this home over the weekend. The kitchen was large and spacious and so were all the living areas. The game room was well kept and had the kids busy for most of the weekend. The outdoor pool was large and beautiful although we did not get to use it because of the weather, we did use the hot tub

This place is amazing!!! We rented this home for a weekend to celebrate my husband’s 40th. The home has everything you can imagine! All our friends were extremely impressed, as none of us has ever seen a house like this. Jeff and Sarah were very attentive and communication was great! I highly recommend this place!!!

Perfect for Family Reunion

With 15 adult guests flying in for a family reunion, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hawkview. Everyone was immediately impressed by the size of the space and quality of the decor. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking, and we appreciated being able to seat everyone at a single dining table. There was more than enough space to sit across multiple living areas. It was nice to have most bedrooms have private baths, and to have main floor bedrooms for our elderly grandmother. The outdoor spaces looked great, though we’d have to come back in better weather to make more use of them. The decor was modern and tasteful without being bland. Overall, an excellent stay!

Overall amazing house with awesome amenities for the entire family. Responsive host. The one area for improvement would be the poolside cabana. It’s in need of some TLC as far as maintenance…a bit shabby. Would still give the overall experience 5 stars. Bravo!

Friend Reunion

We had an incredible weekend at Hawkview Retreat as a group of old college friends + families. This is an annual trip, first time at Hawkview, won’t be our last. The house is exactly what you’d need in versatility, beautiful amenities indoor and outdoor, and a responsive + helpful host. It’s also well contained and safe for kids around the house. We will be back!

Amazing host

Jeff, Thank you for being such a great host! This was our second time renting from you, and we truly appreciate how responsive you are both before and during our stay. When we had an issue with the heat, you were so quick to help, which made a huge difference. The house was amazing—spotlessly clean, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the arcades were such a fun bonus! We had a fantastic time and are already looking forward to next year. Thanks again!

great family trip

Some properties look good in the pictures, but not in person. This property was even nicer in person than the pictures! Plenty of room for the entire clan; play things for the kids, and beautiful and clean pool for the whole family, and plenty of seating for all of us to catch up on life. If you don't carve out time, life will pass you by! Great family get-together in a great location! Close enough to civilization, but nestled in the woods. Just right!

Family Reunion

Everything about the house was as listed and in most cases better. We had a large group of mixed ages and everyone had comfortable spaces and it was easy to entertain in the house. The pool was a bit hit as well as the movie theater! Overall I definitely recommend the house. I took off one star for location simply because there isn't much in the area in terms of things to do outside the house, however as the house is so great you don't really need much else!

A true five star experience!

I was very unsure about choosing this property, because it was more than I usually spend, but I'm so glad that I did! From the luxurious linens to the top notch kitchen appliances this place has it all. The game room brought many hours of entertainment for all ages, It was a little too chilly to get full use of the pool, but the two hot tubs got plenty of use, The movie theater not only served as a fun evening of watching flicks but it got the creative juices running for my grandchildren who put on daily shows that fully entertained all.the adults. Jeff proved to be a wonderful host who quickly responded to, any questions or needs. We also had a great hike at nearby Hawk Mountain. This was truly a five star experience!

Just as listed

Anyone who has stayed at VRBO knows that listings (like resumes) may be embellished sometimes. Not the case here, place was just as advertised and probably better. Plenty of kitchen accessories, handled our group of 18 perfectly. Even when a couple of kids wanted to change bedrooms, plenty to choose from. Pool was nicely heated, house was comfortable and vies spectacular. Only thing bad about the property was we only had it for week. Could have easily stayed another. Thanks to Jeff and his team.

Family fun ages 89 to One!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Hawkview Retreat! There was plenty of room for all 28 of us. Grandma loved her (as we called it) "Presidential Suite." Her bedroom, sitting room, bathroom, and balcony provided her own little getaway. And the Keurig and mini fridge in her room were a HUGE bonus. Feedback from family members of things that made our stay so enjoyable included: excellent supply of pool towels and well stocked kitchen items; snacks in the basement; bottled water in the bedrooms; coffee station; plenty of toilet paper and bathroom supplies; excellent AC in all locations; cozy blankets in TV room and theater; hot tub; waterfall lounge area next to the pool; the arcade games and pool table in the basement game room were a hit. The dumpster was also convenient for all of our trash disposal. We're already discussing plans to return next summer!

Very nice home

The property is spacious and beautiful. The owners communicate immediately and constantly with you through the whole process. This is one of the most well stocked rentals I have ever stayed in. I did not like a contract that was presented to me 5 days before arrival to execute nor did I believe it was necessary. The only other issue I had is the property is monitored down to having noise meters throughout. You need to trust your guests to be respectful and enjoy their time which we did in both regards.
