Studio Apartment in Quintessential Cape Style Home Addition on Secluded 1 Acre Hill - Sleeps 2. Wonderful studio in new addition located in West Barnstable between exits 5 and 6 off route 6.
Important - please note that I have two boys - 12 and 8 years old and they can be loud at times.
Also, I am a violinist and violin teacher and I have violin lessons or practice at the house during the day. The walls are insulated but some noise can still be heard between the house and the studio
Wonderful studio in solar powered Cape home in great neighborhood located in West Barnstable between exits 5 and 6 off route 6. The house is located half way in between the east and west beaches. The studio was recently built and it features high ceilings. The bathroom is a large classic Cape style bathroom with attractive double vanities and a lot of light. The kitchen is compact and has everything you need including microwave, small fridge, small appliances, dishwasher, small countertop electric stove and a medium size sink. All dishes and silverware are at your disposal. Also, the studio has a closet with space for clothes, shoes etc. The studio features beautiful hardwood floors throughout with the exception of the bathroom where there are tiles. All windows are energy efficient Andersen windows. The lightning is energy efficient in its entirety featuring either cfl or led bulbs. The studio has a direct separated exit/entrance to a portion of the back yard deck which is not shared with the owner. Approximately a third of the deck surface is used by the tenant. The entrance to the apartment is done by walking around the right side of the house and entering a code provided to the tenant. The deck also features a beautifully crafted metal table and chairs. The portion of the backyard used by the tenant features a charcoal grill. The back yard is fenced in and it is very safe for children. The property features premium energy efficient appliances - a small mini refrigerator, a new and modern 18 inch dishwasher, and a microwave. The studio also features a 65 inch flat screen television set with Amazon Fire TV and Netflix services. Cable service is not available. The property is 1 acre mostly woods located on a hill which makes the property extremely private. The driveway is horse shoe shape featuring solar lights and was recently refinished with beautiful cobblestone edging. The tenant parking spots are at the bottom of the driveway.
The home is 95% powered by solar electricity. The kitchen is new, very compact and well thought. All new appliances and utensils.
The studio has a central ac system with its own separated zone controlled by a digital thermostat. The landscape is professionally designed and maintained with beautiful plants, shrubs and cobblestones.
The studio has a comfortable queen size sleeping sofa with a memory foam mattress.
