This is our second time staying here, and we had a great time. We especially love the porches and the peaceful location. Chris made some small but noticeable improvements since our last visit that were appreciared. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Relaxing and great location

Great home base for all our adventures. Waterfalls and walking trails were most of our destinations. Wonderful recliners welcomed us home.

Very cozy get away in the mountains

Stayed for 2 nights for a trip to tail of the dragon. very conveniently located near a town with lots of restaurants. The property was well kept and very cozy. Very nice, highly recommend

Easy access to Fontana lake

It’s a nice location with a near by pond to either fish or swim. Bryson city is just a short drive from the cabin location. It’s a little longer drive to clings man dome but definitely worth the scenic view from Cherokee.

Enjoyable Weekend

Property was accurately described and perfect for our needs. There are lots of activities in the area to keep the teenagers occupied. We hiked in the park, rode the trails at Tsali, visited Bryson City and NOC. We would book again.

Cute, cozy cabin in the woods

My son and I had a wonderful stay at your cabin! It was clean and stocked with everything we needed. When we weren't hiking or rafting, we were relaxing on that wonderful screened in back porch. We had no trouble at all locating the cabin and the check-in and check-out process was a breeze.

Lovely accommodations

The accommodations were excellent; however, getting to the house was a chore. And the cottage is not by the lake, you have to walk to get to the lake. All in all, we had an excellent stay and would recommend this listing.

Tobacco Branch

The cabin was very nice and comfortable. The Tobacco Branch grounds were beautiful and it's in close proximity to Tsali Recreation Area, Fontana Lake and Deep Creek area in Smoky Mountains. Thanks!!

Hiking AT at Fontana Dam

This property had everything we wanted. Well supplied kitchen with pots/pans, utensils, salt, pepper, coffee, etc., Roku, etc. The cabin was not far from Fontana Dam. Also not too far from Bryson City and Cherokee. The owner was easy to get ahold. We really enjoyed our stay at this property.

Perfect, peaceful surroundings

Very clean, very comfortable everything is in working order. We came in on our motorcycles and the short distance you’re on Birch Trail is gravel and a little steep so a novice rider should be aware.

Great stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The porches were awesome, the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and the neighborhood wss peaceful. Chris is the best host!. He is a great communicator who responds to messages quickly and you can really tell that he cares about his guests. He did us a tremendous favor when we asked to extend our reservation last minute because a hurricane was approaching our home state. I would highly recommending booking this cabin!

If you’re looking for a place to stay and not a five-star resort in the middle of the local attractions this place is a safe bet, especially if you have family or friends with you. It’s clean, comfortable, well equipped and it’s a place you can call home.
