Quiet country rustic cabin.

Relax in the country in our quaint rustic cabin on a ranch. It was built in 1858. This is a smoke free cabin this includes e-cigarettes and vapes. There are several restaurants and boutiques close by and walking trails. Our cabin sits on a farm with mini-donkeys and several other farm animals. We ask that you do not feed the horses as they are on specialized feed. If you would like to meet the horses please let us know and we will arrange it. We are on a dirt/gravel road. We have 2 livestock guardian dogs that may greet you. Please let us know if you do not want them greeting you. The queen bed is in the main living area and there is also an air mattress that can be used. There is a twin bed in the small bedroom. The bathroom has a stand up shower. The kitchen has a microwave, coffee pots, refrigerator/freezer, toaster oven, and hot plate. There is a table with chairs for eating also. There is a t.v. in the main area and we now have WiFi available. The name and password is on the wall. We have a couple of rocking chairs and a glider on the front porch for you to enjoy. If you are traveling with your pets, please have them in their crates when left alone in the cabin and be courteous of the next guests and pick up after them. Please message us with any questions and thank you for choosing our cabin!

The host was very welcoming, the cabin was an awesome experience being over hundred years old. The last night we lost power due to a storm, which in a way helped captivate the experience.

Quaint, but clean little old cabin. Very minimalistic and just the necessities. Bathroom is on septic and had a small RV shower. It rained during our stay, and the back of the house where our luggage rested on the single bed got wet from either leaky roof or window.Bed was comfortable and environment was quiet and peaceful.

Home away from home

Our stay here contained of pastries, a big fur baby welcoming us, and a peaceful quiet scenery. Enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend.

It was the cutest little 1859 cabin home. Very homey. The couple we rented from were very pleasant to deal with. If we ever have to stay in this area again, we will try for this place.

Nice Little Cabin

We were in the area for a family reunion. This was exactly what we were looking for. It was a nice little cabin that was built in the 1800’s and is still being renovated. The area is remote and quiet. We had everything we needed, including daily visits by the owners dogs, who were very friendly. The owners stopped by to drop off an extra space heater because a cool front was coming in. They were very nice people and we had a good visit. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

This is a unique place to stay. Was perfect for me and my sister. It’s a quiet and beautiful place to relax. The cabin is indeed rustic but is clean and comfortable. Enjoyed talking with owner about history of cabin and land it’s on. All in all thoroughly enjoyable and peaceful!

This place was soooo cute and quiet! They went above and beyond with making you feel at home! I will definitely stay here again!!!! The only thing I didn’t like was there was no communication on check in so we just showed up and looked around and found the key. We we’re unsure of how to check in, other than that it was AMAZING!!! We loved the animals and farm life feel! There was everything you could need there. Sweet people!

Beware....love of dogs will occure

The cabin was cute and secluded. We loved it. Though we didn't see the horses, the dogs visited us a couple of times. They are quiet and adorable. They really made me want one of these breeds. The owners are very accommodating and didn't even mind me calling about a silly a key incident (misplaced them for a minute). I will definitely be coming back if we stay in the area. Oh and also our trip went through 5 hotels and here...these beds were the most comfortable.

They need to repair the screen door! The spring is so strong i couldnt keep it open and it ended up ripping my arm! The screen part is completely loose and flaps around. Night light bulb in bathroom burnt out! Very quiet!

Country Cabin

Was a cute stay and had cute dogs that visited us. Only issues were the TV does not work as it’s internet based and no internet or dvd/ blu-ray player was given. So quite literally useless. Other issue was I came during winter and there were only two extra blankets and the small space heater didn’t do much. Cabin was not insulated. Had to get extras our self. Also only two rolls of toilet paper were given. However, atmosphere and welcomeness were great.

Our lines for internet were ran in June, however the company still has not activated ours. The t.v. was bought for another renter who connected their phone directly to it. Thank you for your suggestion of adding a dvd/blu-ray player. And thank you for reminding me to label the blanket chest. We hope to have "central heat and air" added to the cabin soon and we hope you will give our little cabin another try.

Rustic home from the 1800s

I really enjoyed my stay at the property. There are two doggos that greet you (which I loved but wasn’t mentioned and some people in my family have dog allergies and they just happened to not be with me on this trip so we got lucky). There were two small heaters to heat the house and while I came at the end of February and it’s not extremely cold it was not sufficient to warm much up. Even with it in my face the heat was not felt. We put one in the bathroom to warm that up so we had a spot of warmth and it didn’t do much. The road is listed as other and this may be my ignorance but it means gravel. I missed my first turn (which admittedly was fairly easier to travel but not by much) and had to take another turn. The area is undeveloped and the height of the gravel messed up the under carriage of my car. As I was driving I could hear the damage being done. You absolutely need a tall work truck to safely traverse. As I have a small low riding car, had I known previous I wouldn’t have booked here. And as stated the road took off half my undercarriage. Which is an expense I wasn’t prepared for but I have had to pay to fix from my stay here. The hosts were great and responded quickly. The power went out at one point and she quickly came down and flipped the breaker for us which solved the problem the rest of the time. The stars at night were gorgeous tho and they provide rocking chairs that were absolutely used to the max as we sat under the stars and enjoyed being country

I love being a host and providing people with a quiet place to stay. I have really enjoyed getting to meet so many people since hosting.
