This is a one bedroom apartment located on a quiet block in Amityville. It's close to all. Two minutes to the Southern State highway and five minutes to the LIRR. Also less than ten minutes to Farmingdale State University. It has a queen size bed and will accommodate a couple or two people. There's a full wall length closet. It has a full kitchen with all the features and stainless steel appliances. There's air conditioning and heating. The bathroom has a full shower. There's also a washer and dryer in the apartment. Oh also almost forgot, a huge backyard.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. For two guests it was a suitable space & very clean. The fully equipped kitchen made it possible to have any meal, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner. The one drawback was the small size of the high-top table which didn't allow for too much dining space. Although we didn't utilize the outdoor space, the backyard was like a resort. Plenty of outdoor furniture with outside lights accentuating the resort feel. Lacynth made communication with her quite easy. Upon arrival I questioned the code for entry into the Vrbo and she quickly responded.Location is very good as you have easy access to Sunrise Hwy. & Southern State Parkway.

Clean, pretty, and well set up 1-BR apt in in a nice neighborhood on LI. Check in was easy. Kitchen was small (and I wish the Keurig was stocked with coffee rather than hot chocolate). Bedroom and bed were comfortable although the room was small). Bathroom was clean and pretty, with a very nice shower. The landlord was very nice.

Our stay here was good. My high school son and I were in town for lacrosse. The space was just what we needed....clean, comfortable bed, functional kitchen. I took the couch which was small but just the right size for me. *Note, this was not advertised as a "bed", which I was fully aware of!*Just two things to point out. The space you are renting is a converted garage attached to a home with full time residents. We stayed during a very HOT time on LI. 90's during the day. When we checked in the unit thermostat read 84 degrees. There is one wall unit for the entire space. We turned the unit on (it was off when we checked in) and it took about 4 hours to cool the space. The bedroom has no way to be cooled unless you keep the door open. There is a ceiling fan, but the bedroom stays about 5-10 degrees warmer than the space with the AC unit. The other point to note is the neighborhood is very quiet, as advertised. I never felt unsafe, however, had I been a female traveling alone, I would probably not have picked this location.

WOW, WOW and WOW – what a host and place. The host was amazing and greeted us like long-lost friends. The accommodation far exceeded our expectations and was truly superb. The attention to detail in this beautiful place is simply wonderful. We would not hesitate to stay here again and our stay was simply not enough to fully enjoy what this hidden gem has to offer. The area is great and quiet and is a brilliant base to enjoy Long Island and within reasonable distance to New York City. The accommodation was so clean and the shower especially was superb. The outside space was stunning and as with the inside, was beautifully done and well-thought out. We were very sad to leave and can’t wait to return, when next in New York state. Don’t hesitate to book this accommodation, you’ll be so pleased you did. An amazing place with an absolutely amazing host.

Excellent has Everything One Needs

The space has everything you need...a separate bedroom with a comfortable Queen bed,a closet,then another area with a washer and dryer and a full kitchen with oven, stove , microwave, air fryer and complete set of pots and pans and all the utensils.There was also many spices and other snacks . There was a small very sufficient living room space with a high top table and chairs for eating and a comfortable couch. Bathroom had a shower with plenty of pressure and hot water. It was quiet in the unit and the neighborhood . A big bonus is there was a large backyard that tenants had access to and a large gazeboo with a couch and chairs to either get out of the sun or rain. Also there were tvs in both the bedroom and living room that you could use to access ones apps. The owners were extremely accomodating and addressesed all concerns.I highly recommend this property for a day or much longer.

Weekend Stay

My wife and I were coming to the area for a wedding and to see some friends. We didn't spend much time in the rental, but it met all our needs. Quiet residential neighborhood, clean, nice bathroom.

Good place to stay, driving distance to a lot of different areas and a train ride away from NYC. Had all the amenities necessary for a short or long stay. Only drawback was the parking set up was a bit confusing as we thought there were dedicated spots. Would definitely stay again on a long trip.

A very clean place to stay that has everything you need, that is furnished with new appliances, and a comfy bed. My schedule changed last minute and the owner accepted my request to it charge me for a night I didn’t stay. Would stay again!
