The downstairs couch is huge and very comfy. This place had everything and more for a perfect cabin trip in the woods. Fire pit, hot tub, game room, etc. 10/10
Overall it was good experienceâŠCabin view and location were great. A couple things that we noticed⊠A ton of dog hair everywhere throughout the house, hot tub needs some regular cleaning, water was very dirty just needs to be shocked.
I wanted to surprise my wife for her bday by having her brother, sister in law and their 3 kids (13,11,7) join us for a couple days in the mountains. The house was better than I could have expected. The basement was perfect for the kids to sleep and hang out in so we adults could have down time and peace and quiet. The kids had everything they needed, bathroom, huge couch, even a refrigerator downstairs. My wife and I stayed in the bedroom on the 2nd floor and had privacy from our other adult guests who had their choice of 2 bedrooms both with stunning views. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook family breakfasts and dinners. We loved the location of the home too as we got to go tubing, check out the cute shops in the small down town and had the best tacos of our life at one of the restaurants. There was also a small IGA grocery only a short drive. We loved it so much weâre hoping to return and make this a yearly event. Although we didnât use it, the firepit was great and since we brought our 2 dogs, we loved how there was a dog cleanup station. Lots of special touches went into this home and also some pleasant surprises like Chantelle mushrooms the grew on the property slope, automatic outdoor lights, and covered parking. Weâve stayed at other mountain homes around the GA / TN area and this home is the only one we would be thrilled to return to.
We loved our stay at the soulshine sanctuary. Far enough to feel privacy and close enough to all the attractions. Loved the touch of the lighting throughout the property. View from the porch was wonderful. Perfect spot to stay if you have kids, they enjoyed the air hockey and car mats. Host was very attentive to our needs and instructions werenât overly complicated.
This cabin is in a good location with close proximity to downtown McCaysville, which has shops and restaurants. In addition, it is about 20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. We were a group of 7 ranging from 15 to 72 years old and were all very comfortable. The cabin is spacious and provided all that we needed. Beds were comfortable, 3 bathrooms was a plus, and the kitchen was equipped with essentials needed for cooking basic meals. I would recommend staying here if in the area âșïž
The house size was just right for the 6 of us. We also brought our pet. There was a convenient dog station with baggies which was very nice. The outdoor flat top grill was a disappointment as it was dirty. However, Fire pit size and location was perfect. We loved the outdoor lights. Just remember to buy firewood. Kitchen is very small and needed a few supplies but overall a nice rental close to Mcayesville. We had very good follow up service with our request and inquiries.
I had a brief but wonderful stay at the cabin. Though the listing was great, itâs even better in person. The bed and couch were both very comfortable. There was so much space if youâre traveling with a large group. I really enjoyed playing basketball and the golf acrade game. I would love to stay here again with my godson. He would have loved it!!! And the hot tub was perfect after a day of traveling and before another day of traveling. The carport was nice to have a covered area to unload. And the drive was not bad at all even arriving after dark. You will not regret your stay here!
The location was BEAUTIFUL, gorgeous leaves at their peak. The home was great, with lots of space and comfortable beds for three couples. Fantastic views from the porches.
We VRBO every summer in the Ga mountains, and so far in the past 12 years this was the nicest. The upstairs was a master suite, sofa, large TV, large bath. The main floor had 2 nice bedrooms with a shared bath, the downstairs had a queen with trundle and a bunk on top. The sofa downstairs was huge with ottoman, a large bathroom and shower. Large TV downstairs and a large TV on main floor L/R. We had one guest use the Hot tub and said it was the nicest ever. The downstairs has a video Golf game that became a thing, foosball, air hockey, corn hole games. The outside has a hammock by the fire pit w/ 6 chairs and a picnic table. The back deck has a picnic table, BBQ grill, coffee table and lounge that sits 4 along with a hammock that overlooks the beautiful mountains along with the deer we saw several mornings. The kitchen had more silverware plates, cups, and utensils then Iâve ever seen. Ice maker and water dispenser on the fridge worked great, dishwasher, toaster oven, coffee pot and a gas stove and oven worked great. There was a spare fridge and freezer downstairs too. Canât express how great the house was. The town of McCaysville and Copperhill was nice to explore, we spent time in Blue Ridge and Blairsville. Thanks to the owners for the easy and quick responses I had from them. Weâll be back next year!!!
