Located in Ocean Lakes Campground just 125 steps from the beach is our 2-story house on stilts! Enjoy the ocean view from the spacious wrap around deck equipped with umbrellas, tables & chairs. On the ground level you'll find ample parking for 3-4 cars, a charcoal grill, porch swing, & outdoor shower. A multitude of amenities are included in your stay such as access to the onsite water park with a gigantic water slide, lazy river and splash zone for the kids, dog park, oceanfront creamery, beachfront sports + so much more!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at mauldins reef and definitely will be back in the future. Kitchen was well stocked, rooms were a decent size and the wrap around porch was awesome!

Ocean Lakes Family Vacation

This was a great place for our family trip to Ocean Lakes. We loved that they accommodated both our dogs and the location was a prime spot near the beach, playground, basketball courts, corn hole area, volleyball, short golf cart ride to the pool and store. It was clean, had ample room for everyone, well stocked, and an amazing deck to lounge and/or watch the evening activities of the campground. There was plenty of parking for our cars and a golf cart. We would highly recommend this house and would happily stay in it again.

The home was just what we were hoping for, close to the beach and had everything we needed to make our stay extremely comfortable. The kitchen even has all the utensils you’d want to cook whatever meal you feel like cooking.

Family fun & relaxation @Mauldin’s Reef

Three generations of our family enjoyed our stay at Mauldin’s reef with an easy walk to the beach. Thanks Hannah you were a great host and I appreciated your detailed instructions that covered everything. I’m glad we used the linen service it worked out great. Peaceful and pleasant

We really enjoyed our stay within the Ocean Lakes community! From all the amenities included on the camp ground to the additional amenities that cost, Ocean Lakes truly makes a vacation as inexpensive as they can! Hannah, the owner of this property, was great with communication and gave clear and concise instructions for check-in and check-out. When we had an issue she promptly addressed our concerns and sent someone in a timely manner. The property has normal maintenance needs that come with property ownership, especially being on the water, but none of which caused any inconvenience to our stay. I would say overall, my family and I throughly enjoyed our stay!

Relaxation at Mauldin's Reef!

Our stay at Mauldin's Reef was excellent! We had all been to Myrtle Beach before, but not to this house. The location was close to the beach and within walking distance of most activities. Our son rented a golf cart which everyone enjoyed in the evenings. The layout of the house was perfect. Our 3 grandchildren loved the spaces that the house afforded them, and all 7 of us felt comfortable. We especially liked the porch which was shady and breezy much of the time. All of the amenities were as described and more. The outside faucet was especially appreciated when we returned from outings at the beach. Our son brought a small trailer, and the space under the house had ample space for it along with our 2 cars and the golf cart. When a light bulb in the stairway went out, a replacement arrived very quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can't think of any suggestions to improve the stay.

Rental house

The house was in a nasty mess. Dog pee stains on living room rug, carpets and stairs. Dirty dishes in dish washer, black dust on fans, thick dust under couches along with stains on couches. Light fixture in upstairs closet barely hanging in ceiling, blinds in upstairs bedroom broken, drawer in upstairs dresser broken. Seen roaches in upstairs bathroom. We had to clean the house before we could unpack. The boards on the deck were rotten and sticking up, loose nails on the steps were sticking up and my son in law stepped in one hurting his foot. We left early due to the nasty house. I have many pictures to show if interested. I request a partial refund on the rental fee and a full refund on the cleaning fee. Never have I ever stayed in a house this nasty.

Joyce, you left 12 hours early. We take cleanliness and pest control very seriously. For the issues to be as bad as you say, I wish you would've let us know upon arrival or a few days into your stay so that we could've inspected and remedied the issues. You did not make us aware of any issues until the night before your check-out which left us with no way to try and fix any issues you may have been having. We have a pest control service, handy man, cleaning crew and many other people all at your service if only we had been made aware before you left Friday evening before your Saturday morning check-out. We had great communication before your check-in and I was able to work with you on all your requests so I regret again that you felt you couldn't reach out once during your stay.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property has been part of our family for over 20 years so Myrtle Beach is truly like a second home. After relaxing on the beach all day or exploring the local shops & attractions, Mauldin's Reef is the perfect place to come back to. Ocean Lakes Campground provides a safe environment and is close to anything you could possibly want to do during your stay in Myrtle Beach. Murrels Inlet is just a 15 minute drive as well as Broadway at the Beach and Coastal Grand Mall. The Strip is only 10 minutes away if your family wants to check out the rides at Family Kingdom or Ripley's. You couldn't be closer to the action or in a safer place! Plus you get nearly 1 mile of private beach to enjoy.

The main thing we love about this house is that its perfect for the entire family. Due to the thorough security measures, you can feel confident letting the kids go play mini golf, beachfront basketball, play on the playgrounds and volleyball courts, ride their bikes, go to the arcade, have fun at Sandy Harbor on the water slides, splash zone & lazy river or skating at the skatepark. The dogs can enjoy golf cart rides or the new Paws'N'Play Dog Park complete with washing station. The adults can enjoy the many pools, lake fishing/tide fishing and gorgeous ocean views from the wrap around deck. The amenities are really what makes staying with us such a fun & unique experience!
