The Gilead Log Cabin

Built in 2022, The Gilead Log Cabin is located in Harriet, Arkansas just 3 miles from Spring Creek access and Dillard's Ferry on the Buffalo National River where you can enjoy fishing, hiking, canoeing, kayaking and more!

The Gilead Log Cabin is located just off of scenic Highway 14 down a private drive surrounded by woods and wildlife located within 20 miles of Marshall, AR and Yellville, AR where you will find many local restaurants and Marshall's own Kenda Drive-In theater! The Gilead Cabin features a covered porch encompassing two sides of the exterior and a beautiful, cozy lodge style interior with wood walls and hand crafted cabinets. Cabin includes 1 private bedroom, with a queen bed. In the living room, you will find a sleeper sofa and a 40" smart TV accessible with own personal hotspot and own username/password for use of Netflix, Hulu, etc, DVD player, and an antenna providing +/- 40 channels for viewing. The cabin is fully furnished with washer, dryer, walk in shower, full kitchen, dishwasher, coffee maker, dishes, toaster, fire pit and propane grill!

The Gilead Cabin in Harriet AR is a perfect getaway from your busy life & the stress of everyday life! It is cozy and tucked in to nature! The porch swing is very relaxing & great for reminiscing about the serenity of the atmosphere around you! We went to view Mirror Falls Lake in Fifty-Six AR, along with a visit to Blanchard Springs Caverns. The Caverns are set to close in October for an 18 month renovation! Boston Mtn Pizza and Los Locos Mexican restaurant in Marshall are excellent, along with Fergusons restaurant in St Joe AR. Highly recommend!

This cabin was perfect. The views and quiet were wonderful. The cabin had everything (and more) you could need. Great communication with the owner. While the inside of the cabin was beautiful, my favorite was just sitting in the wrap around porch with swing and chairs. It was the perfect place for morning coffee or evening wine and the winds whistling through the trees. Great area for hiking. Hope I can return some day.

We had a great time at the cabin! Everything was as expected. We enjoyed the area as well. The hosts had thought out very well everything that would be needed ahead of time. They left a list of local information on who to contact if there was an emergency all the way to local hotspots for food and attractions. The decor was so cute. Very rustic feel with many amenities for the modern times. WiFi was available as well as streaming tv. The cabin is well cared for and very clean. Plenty of blankets if you get cold and need to snuggle up. I hope to go back in the future.

Great setting in the woods, remote, nice place, good kitchen. Stove, oven, micro wave , fridge, and dishwasher all good. Rec update skillet and knives and add knife sharpener. Great value. We had a great extra-long weekend at the Gilead Cabin and used it as a home base to explore the lower Buffalo River region. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We appreciate the effort put into the cabin and will recommend it to anyone we know that is visiting the area.
