Blue Bayou is a beautiful beach home featuring 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, open great room, private pool, and tons of fun for the whole family!

Bells and whistles and warming comforts galore make Blue Bayou your perfect St. George Island retreat! With the whole house on one living level, there is room to gather and enjoy each other, or retreat to one of the 4 private bedrooms. The large great room with gourmet kitchen, large dining table, open spacious living area with plenty of comfy seating, flat screen TV and game table opens up to the large beach facing covered deck with views of the private pool and the Gulf of Mexico.

Two bedrooms with views of the Gulf feature king size beds, flat screen TVs, and private bathrooms. The third bedroom with queen size bed also has a private bathroom. The fourth bedroom has 2 twins bed and is next to the 4th bathroom which is common to the great room.

Its all about the outdoors on St. George Island! Plentiful deck furnishings provide the perfect spot to enjoy that morning cup of java, the evening sunsets, or watching the family enjoy the pool below - all with views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Beach access is quick and easy via the bike path next to Blue Bayou. Walk or bike to the nearby beach access only about one block away.

This home is located in the golf cart friendly area of the island. (Please follow golf cart rules)

Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach cart and beach and pool toys in the storage under the house.

Sleeps 8: Bed sizes: 2 kings, 1 queen, 2 twins

Great Place to Stay

We had a lovely time at Blue Bayou. The house is well appointed with great ocean views. We would stay there again. We had some AC and TV issues but they were fixed promptly. There is no direct beach access and the outdoor grill like one at a state park.

Wonderful place to spend time with friends

This was our second time at Blue Bayou and we'll definitely be back again. The home is very comfortable and well equipped for 2-3 couples or a large family. Easy walk to the beach or the bay and conveniently located between the park and downtown SGI. The large covered rear deck overlooking the ocean was a great place to hang out.

Another Great Week

An excellent location for our annual family beach vacation. Very roomy and clean, close to our favorite beach, refreshing pool for grandkids and excellent timely response from Roxanne on one minor issue make this a five star resort.

Awesome/spacious home on the beach. All rooms large and our group loved it. Pool is fantastic! Will stay again soon!

Stayed for a week. Perfect location, perfect house. Had 2 families in the home and we never felt cramped at all. Blue Bayou is a special place and Roxanne (property manager) was fantastic.

A great week on the island!

We really enjoyed our stay at blue bayou. It’s a nice modern home that is clean and well maintained. The heated pool was fantastic! Roxanne was super helpful!! I’d gladly spend another week at blue bayou. Thank you Roxanne!

Wonderful!

Our entire experience was fantastic! Roxanne was so easy to work with and very attentive. The house was so clean and fully stocked with anything we needed. Beach was a short, easy walk. The covered porch overlooking the pool was my favorite spot.

Loved our stay!

Blue Bayou was a great home for 4 adults and 4 teenagers. We all had our own space and the living area was very large. The back deck was a great spot for the dogs. We also enjoyed the pool every day. All the extras were appreciated - great beach towels, beach chairs plenty of trash bags and other supplied. Thanks for a great week! Will definitely stay here or with Go SGI again!

3rd year at Blue Bayou

We have been coming to SGI since 1998. This is the first home we have stayed in repeatedly. GoSGI is so easy to work with. The home is wonderfully stocked, immaculately clean and meets every need we could imagine. We love it. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Week in a Beautiful Home

Absolutely loved this home! After my original reservation with another company got cancelled because the home sold, I was lucky enough to find this beautiful home. This home is spacious with a great floor plan. The home was clean upon arrival and everything is provided as advertised. Personally, I think the home is in a great location….not to far from the beach or bay. The pool is well maintained and my granddaughter enjoyed it everyday we were there. Although I didn’t meet Roxanne in person, she made me feel as if I have known her for a lifetime. I would definitely rent this home again as well as rent from this company.

Great Getaway!

This is a very beautiful home, well decorated, well furnished, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It's a short walk to the beach and we really enjoyed hanging out on the deck. We'll definitely be back next year.

Very nice home

Blue Bayou was a a good house for my family to stay. Even though the house is not on the beach it is a very short walk with a nice boardwalk to access. We did have an issue with the floors-Roxanne did call to inform us on the day we were traveling there but at that point there were no other homes available to fit our needs. Apparently there had been a water leak so the floors buckled and were challenging to walk on in some spots. My grandson even fell a couple times, luckily wasn’t hurt. I’m sure the floors will be fixed soon so this house will be great once that is complete. Roxanne was wonderful to work with, very helpful and kind. I appreciated her disclosing the floor issue up front and she honestly felt bad about it. The pool area was great for our little ones and the living area nice and big. We would rent this home again (once floors fixed!)

Beautiful Home

Blue Bayou is a beautiful home with every amenity you can image. My family and I enjoyed the private pool as well as the short walk to the beach. We all enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home and Gosgivp.com to anyone needing reservations on the island. Roxanne is the friendliest and most caring property manager I’ve ever met. You will be very impressed with Blue Bayou and Roxanne!!

Blue Bayou is well equipped and the layout is nice for a couples retreat. The view is nice and beach access is super easy. Roxanne is a wonderful host and made the booking process very easy. We will be back!

Long Family Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Bayou! We’ve been coming to the island for years but have never used Go SGI Properties for a rental. They made everything easy from booking to check in and were great to work with. Will definitely rent from again. The house itself was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The pool and location were also a big plus!

Ultimate Relaxation!!

Blue Bayou is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation!! Almost everything you could possibly need is provided; just bring your clothes and groceries!! The views are stunning and the walk to the beach hardly takes 5 minutes!! This has definitely become a yearly tradition for our family!! We can hardly wait until our next visit!!

Fall Break 2021

The home is exactly as described, it was perfect for two families to share! The pool was great on days we did not want to head to the beach. The beach is a short walk from the home, it was not bad at all. We loved sitting out on the back patio when it rained and played cards. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking! We had such a great vacation it was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. There is plenty of parking space as well, we rented a golf cart and we also had two cars parked everything fit perfectly! We did have a slight issue with the AC but one call and it was fixed, we can't wait to visit again.

Amazing Home

Blue Bayou is a beautiful home! The pool is clean and spacious. The outside deck has a great view of the ocean with comfortable seating! The kitchen has all essentials including crockpots, which is HUGE! Beach equipment was great: chairs, umbrellas,beach toys, big beach towels. The home is beautifully decorated and well kept. Roxanne was great to work with. The office was very attentive and quick to respond. When we arrived the AC wasn't working and they had someone there in less than 20 minutes to get it fixed and on a Sunday! This house was fantastic and highly recommended!

Without a doubt, And this is our 2nd stay at the house……AMAZING TIME!

Blue Bayou is centered around all of our family needs. From a short walk to the beach, to a quick walk to the Bay. The BEST of both worlds on the island. The house was very well equipped with all needs, from the kitchen to the bathroom, to the bedroom and laundry room….and the pool was perfect! Beach supplies for all our needs. Everything was right there..We had NO WANTS.!!! This was out 2nd time renting the property and we have already booked for next year. Great memories made for our family. And Many many THANKS goes out to Roxanne. You truly are a GEM and we are so glad we were able to meet you.
