Welcome to River Run, a premier designer retreat nestled on 3.5 private acres directly on the Ellijay River. Your escape begins with a drive across a charming covered bridge into a secure, gated community, leading you to a cabin where modern elegance meets the soothing sounds of rushing water.



Whether you're roasting s'mores at the riverside stone fire pit, relaxing in the 7-person hot tub, or enjoying the whimsical "King Hanging Bed," River Run offers a sophisticated mountain-river experience just 15 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge.



Guest Access:

Guests have full, private access to the entire cabin and our 3.5 acres of riverfront grounds. Your stay begins at a charming covered bridge crossing the Ellijay River as you enter our private, gated community.



- Arrival & Parking: Gated Entry: Located in a secure, private HOA. You will receive a gate code and smart lock code prior to arrival.



- Parking: Our spacious gravel driveway comfortably accommodates 5–6 vehicles. Please note that street parking is strictly prohibited by the HOA.



- River Access: You have direct, private access to the riverbank from the backyard. The path is natural terrain, so we recommend bringing outdoor shoes or water shoes for the best experience.

Goose Island Hide Away is a serene, private community known for its natural beauty and quiet atmosphere. You’ll be surrounded by towering trees and the constant, calming soundtrack of the Ellijay River.



Our neighbors are wonderful, long-time residents who value the peaceful nature of the area; we ask that you help us maintain this tranquility by observing quiet hours after 10 PM. The setting is perfect for families seeking a calm, upscale environment to reconnect.



Getting Around:

A vehicle is essential for getting the most out of your North Georgia vacation.



Road Conditions: Great news—the roads leading to the cabin are fully paved all the way to our gravel driveway! You do not need 4WD to reach River Run, making it accessible for all vehicle types year-round.



- Proximity: Toccoa River Tubing: 10 mins



- Downtown Blue Ridge & Mercier Orchards: 15 mins



- Downtown Ellijay: 30 mins



Other Things to Note:

Free Wifi



After each guest, we thoroughly clean and refill the hot tub to ensure it's in pristine condition for your enjoyment. However, please note that the hot tub will not be immediately heated to your desired temperature upon arrival. It takes some time for the water to heat up to the desired temperature, so we ask that you adjust the temperature as soon as you arrive if you plan on using the hot tub during your stay. The hot tub should never be set above 104 degrees for health reasons.



Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $20,000. However, to benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out. The damage waiver serves as a replacement for the conventional security deposit.
