Welcome to the Gilbert AZ! Best part? We are just a quick bike ride to downtown Gilbert and even have some bikes to help with the commute. The neighborhood is very family friendly and we as hosts just live a few blocks away! There are many shops, restaurants, parks and more to enjoy.

Access is for the entire home.

We have 4 beach cruisers in the garage, 2 adult sizes and a size thats suitable for a teenager as well as an older child. These are great to get around in the area or even cruise to Downtown Gilbert. Easy transportation available, Uber, Lyft, Taxi etc

Please be aware that the Hot Tub will be shut down and drained from June to Labor day for safety purposes as the water can get to 110° or more in Arizona during the summer. If we fill it during this time, the hot tub automatically shuts down after its too hot as well.

My family and I just needed to get away to see our Gilbert friends and family for a weekend. This place was perfect not just for my family, but it was also perfect for hosting our friends to a backyard BBQ. We would definitely book this cute home again for our next visit.

The Monterey

Cute little Desert home! Me and my husband stayed there for the weekend and enjoyed our stay. Neighborhood was quiet and the home was very cute and clean! Great property to get away to!

This house was perfect for our family. In town for baseball tournaments and this house had a great location to the ball fields!

Winter get away.

We had a great time in this property. It was extremely clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Walking distance to downtown Gilbert’s. Which is fantastic. Would definitely stay there again next time we are visiting Phoenix.

Cute house, nice set up

We stayed at this property for a week and we're happy with our pick. Conveniently located (grocery store, restaurants, fast food, etc). Downtown Gilbert and downtown Chandler are both close by and good for dinner, drinks. We recommend this house.

Wisconsin winter getaway!

We stayed here to get out of the Wisconsin winter and had a wonderful time! The home is just as described/pictured; comfortable, well appointed, beds are cozy and backyard is amazing. Jodi was amazing for any questions we had. The neighborhood is quiet, there are walking paths everywhere and it’s a short walk to all the restaurants of downtown Gilbert!The house is great for hosting friends for a backyard bbq and enjoying coffee in the morning sunshine. Thank you Jodi, for sharing your home with us, we will be back!

Great Experience!

We needed a place to stay as we transitioned from the sell of our home to new house. Jodi was easy to work with, quick to respond and the place was very clean an accommodating!! We would highly recommend the Monterey!

Pretty perfect

Had a daughters weekend and attended a seminar. We loved how close we were to everything. Bike cruisers were a sweet activity and we were close enough to downtown Gilbert to use them. Hot tub was great. House was clean and welcoming. Jodi is super prompt in responding to needs.

Our little staycation

We are locals who live in South Gilbert AZ. While our home was being painted, we decided to have a little staycation in downtown Gilbert. It was a great stay! The house is really cute and updated. There was plenty of space for everyone especially the large fenced backyard which my kids loved! We used the hot tub every night. As a mom I really appreciated the kids plates, cups and cutlery as well as the books/toys. I would definitely stay again and recommend to my out-of-town friends. The neighborhood is quiet and very family oriented. Close to many great shops and restaurants - check out Candle Chemistry if you can!

Run don’t walk

Can’t say enough wonderful things about this host and her property. We found all the comforts of home with added details that made staying extra enjoyable. The home is incredibly clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. The hot tub, putting green, corn hole and games were a big hit. Communication was quick and thoughtful…we found the best breakfast place within walking distance or by bike… if you need a place in Gilbert, Run… don’t walk… it may be booked if you wait. Thanks, Jodi. We will be back.

Spring family vaca

We (family of 5 with 3 older teens) stayed for the week of spring break and really enjoyed this property. It was exactly as it looked in the photos. I loved the inside decor! So cute! The property was very clean and well stocked with vacation essentials. We all thought the beds were very comfortable. We spent a lot of time enjoying the backyard including family putting and bags competitions and relaxing in the hot tub. We also used the bikes to roam around as well. The location of this property is very close to downtown Gilbert with easy access to restaurants, bars and stores. My daughter and I walked downtown for lunch one day and it was just over a mile. Jodi, the host, was excellent at communication and would get right back to me when I asked questions. We all agreed we would definitely love to stay here again on our next trip to the valley!

Family time

Would definitely stay here again for sure super clean ,the smell was fresh and clean ,the communication between the host and I were great ..Only issue is we were charged an additional 50 dollars for our dog and our pups were little peanuts well behaved and a service dog ..if there was a reason to charge us after the check out is one thing but she charged us on the second day ..I read her rules wrong I thought it said dogs under 50 pounds ..our dogs in total were about 10 pounds ..so watch out for the extra fees…

Hey Natasha, thank you for your review. As discussed, we allow one dog under 50 pounds for a $50 fee, 1-50 pounds is the same fee. You let us know you had one that was a service animal and one that was not after check-in which is why we charged only for one dog:) We charge you at booking if you put the animal on your reservation, if you do not, we will add the charge. VRBO has a spot to add the dog. I’m not sure if you missed it when you booked but it is also located in the rental rules. I apologize if there was any misunderstandings and we would love to host you again, you were great guests :)

Beautifully decorated. Great host. The BEST organized home that provides so many activities.

I was 1st drawn to the beautiful aesthetic of this home (based on the pictures), as well as the fact that there was a hot tub. When arriving, the home’s decor, design and hot tub did not disappoint. :) I will mention that this VRBO is located in an older neighborhood, and I agree that it was a quiet one. I was VERY impressed with the organization and thought that Jodi put into this home. From her great communication, to an electronic PDF home guide, to a “welcome” gift, and even subtle and helpful labels/notes around the home... I can easily say this was the BEST organized home that I’ve ever stayed in. Her attention to detail is evident in the best of ways! My spouse and I never felt bored here either. There was always something we were able to do like… take the beach cruisers to the Saturday morning farmer’s market (easy, 8 min bike ride), relax in the hot tub, play connect 4, or use the Smart TV to watch our Netflix account. Jodi was kind, appreciative, understanding and very open to any feedback. She responded right away with any question or concern I had when messaging her on the app. Thank you Jodi & family for sharing your beautiful home with us for our stay.

We love Gilbert! In the last few years it has boomed with the best restaurants, shops, and is still family friendly, its truly the best of both worlds. We are also close by in case any issues, we can help out within a timely manner!

The Beach Cruisers for downtown bike riding make this the perfect little place. But not to worry, if you want to just stay in, the hot tub is the perfect option. The backyard also comes with plenty of seating as well as a BBQ island perfect for the family or entertaining others.
