This condo has it all! Great view of the beach and walking distance to pier and local restaurants. The building could use an update, but that is out of the owners control. I would stay their again in a heartbeat.The only drawback was cleaning. The bathroom rugs and the hot pads in the kitchen were visibly dirty. This can be easily fixed.Recommendation, stock the kitchen with salt and pepper.Thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic views. Easy walking distance to town and all eating places.

Great ocean views. Plenty of deck chairs. Fully stocked kitchen. and lots of glasses and plates. Plenty of kitchen and bath linens.. Totally enjoyed our 2 weeks in Folly Island.

The location and overall condo were great. It was pretty clean (except the elevators which left much to be desired). There were however a few hiccups: our code didn’t work when we arrived but it was quickly resolved and the water was shut off on our last day due to some repairs to the whole complex. The other minor gripes are the quality of a few amenities. The third bedroom shower/tub was old and the faucet didn’t work correctly, so we didn’t use it. The dresser in the third bedroom had several unusable drawers and was unsafe for our small children. The toaster was missing buttons, the iron was missing a cap for water/steam, knives were dull, and there weren’t but a handful of hangers in closets. We also found a palmetto bug in a bedroom on our last night there which was startling. I think with a bit more care the place could be amazing.

Hot Tub was a bummer

Everything about this property was great, but it was a real bummer that the water heater wasn’t big enough to fill the hot tub.

Girls getaway

The trip in itself was great, the Villa wasn’t as clean as we are use to. The shower curtain had black mold on it and mold on floor next to the shower. The master bedroom jacuzzi didn’t work and the shower handle was defected, but the Charleston vacation dunes properties were awesome!! They didn’t waste anytime fixing our problems at the villa

Unfinished bathroom, no blankets

This location as far as furshings and appointments seemed put-together at the last minute and is the worst we have stayed in in the 12 years coming to Charleston Oceanfront Condominiums.

This condo recently underwent some renovations and there were some minor items unfinished at the time of this stay that have since been addressed and the condo is now fully complete and ready to be enjoyed. Not ready for guests

This property is in the best location of all of Folly Beach. That being said the condo was not ready to be rented. To begin with we were given incorrect check in instructions and could not access the condo until we straightened it out. So unfortunately one person from my group had to sit in his truck and wait almost 2 hours to enter. The condo had been recently painted and there were no pictures on the wall and the water was turned off . The kitchen was nicely furnished with the exception of the pans which are old and the non stick surface is gone. The wifi never worked and the management company finally just gave us the neighbors sign in. There was no instruction sheet for anything in the condo. This is a beautiful condo, just needs a bit of preparation before renting.

Thank you for your review. Our arrival information and check in instructions are sent via email, but perhaps it is a good idea for us to provide an instruction sheet and some literature regarding arrival inside the condo as well. In the event of an emergency or a lockout- we have an on call manager available to assist ASAP! Just call our main office number for assistance. Since this review new pans have been purchased for the kitchen.
