Here at REST S'MORE you can do just that! Relax with the whole family at this peaceful mountain summit getaway. From one of a kind views to fireside s'mores, you will never want to leave!

This is a gated community in the mountains. Snow chains on vehicles are recommended during peak winter weather.

You will have access to the entire house and property.

Bedroom 1 is upstairs with a King Bed and full bathroom
Bedroom 2 is on the main floor with a Queen Bed and full bathroom
Bedroom 3 is on the lower level with 2 bunk beds (4 single beds)
there is a full bathroom on the lower level and an additional half bath on the main floor.

The cabin is full of entertainment items including an outdoor fire pit, 2 televisions with Roku, a shuffle board table, an extra large connect four game and plenty of games to pass the time.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee maker (standard and kurig), cooking pans, dishware/flatware, cutting boards and even some commonly used seasonings. note: unless you already plan to leave the cabin, you will want to pick up your groceries before heading up.

A car is needed for transportation around the area, most activities and sites in the area offer free parking but be sure to check on their websites for more details.

REGIONAL NOTES: Be sure to watch for deer when you drive in the area and double check the weather for your stay in case of inclement weather, requiring 4 wheel drive/snow chains.

REGIONAL NOTES: Due to seasonal patterns, you may notice some stink bugs or cluster flies in the cabin during fall months. They are harmless and our team does our best to minimize them and keep the cabin clean and comfortable. We appreciate your understanding.

HOA: you must maintain a slow speed while driving on all HOA roads, the speed limit is 25 mph. The HOA does not allow overnight street parking, vehicles left on the street overnight are subject to towing at guests expense.

QUIET HOURS: neighborhood quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am.

HOT TUB: The hot tub is checked and maintained between stays, and is expected to be in working order. However, if a situation should occur, and the hot tub is not in service a reimbursement will be carefully considered with each circumstance. No refund or discount will be provided for guests not wanting to use the amenities provided. SEE RULES BELOW.

HOT TUB RULES: Dogs are NOT allowed in the hot tub for any reason. Do NOT add anything to the water. NO glitter oils or bubbles are allowed. If you have anything on your body that may transfer to the water, including mud/dirt, rinse it off prior to entering the hot tub. There is and additional $250 cleaning charge to any guest found violating these rules.

PARKING: The cabin is located in the mountains and sloped driveways are common. The driveway slopes down toward the house with space for 3-4 cars at the base. The HOA does not allow street parking, any vehicles left on the road may be subject to towing at guests expense.

FIRE PIT: please use local firewood only. While there may be firewood, it is not guaranteed so we suggest you pick some up when you grab groceries. Alway confirm with local fire department for updated burn ban information. (828-245-2935 or local non emergency number 828-286-2911)

WIFI: The wifi works well at the house but cell service is spotty going up the mountain. Typically GPS will stay connected but be sure to note gate and lockbox codes prior to heading up to the cabin.

WELL/SEPTIC: this cabin is connected to well water and a septic system. Nothing but septic safe toilet paper should be flushed in the bathrooms. Wells do not have an unlimited supply of water so water conservation is important. Do not leave water running for extended periods of time, this may cause damage to parts of the well system.

TRASH: Trash service is not provided on the mountain. Garbage can be dropped nearby at the convenience center located at 6075 Bostic-Sunshine Hwy between 6am and 7pm Monday- Friday and 8am-7pm on Saturdays. If your checkout is on Sunday please drop the bulk of your trash the night before, do not leave bags outside as it could attract wildlife.

PETS: Dogs are welcome at Rest S'more for an additional fee. Dogs are not allowed to be left alone for any length of time. If they are to be left alone, dogs should be crated.

SECURITY: a video doorbell is located on the front door and an additional security camera is faced toward the driveway. (any activity in these areas can be recorded at any time of day, 24/7)
