We had extended family traveling to DC and needed a home with enough bedrooms and gathering space. This property was perfect. With 5 bedrooms (including two on the main floor for older family), plenty of seating spaces, and a beautiful yard, we had everything we needed!
I was looking for a place for my family to relax comfortably, visit family in town and take in a show. This was perfect. We were able to cook a couple of nights and make breakfast while connecting and everyone had their own space. Convenient to metro as well. Thank you!
We had a wonderful stay at Luciane's place. We had plenty of room, easy checkin/out process and consistently prompt communication. Her place was clean and in a quiet neighborhood only a short drive to the Falls Church metro station. Good walking trails and everything you need for a nice stay. Highly recommend!
The house was spot on for the accommodations needed for my family. The house definitely had enough room to spread out and have your own personal space but it was also nice to be under the same roof again as my adult children. I highly recommend staying at this property
I usually donât leave a review unless I am really impressed. This house was amazing! So beautiful, clean and location was perfect. Quick 15-20 minute drive to Washington DC and the National Harbor. The host was very communicative and easy to get a hold of with any questions. I can tell that the host pays attention to details because this house had everything and was so cozy. We even saw deers in our backyard in the mornings. Would definitely stay again.
House was a lot bigger then I expected with multiple beach themed rooms that made me feel like I was at the beach on vacation. Everything was clean and it was a beautiful home. Host was responsive and check in was easy. Would highly recommend!
Overall the property was clean, well stocked with comfortable beds. The backyard and bedrooms were great for kids. There were games, a couple toys and a playset. There is a basement tenant which is mentioned but not obvious in the listing. We were not bothered at all by them. There were some minor issues. The towels were not all the way dry when we arrived, probably ran out of time during cleaning. We tossed them in dryer and problem solved. Many of the TV remotes were slightly broken making them difficult to operate. Probably just overused but we couldn't work the volume on one tv and the buttons on another were hard to press. The property manager was very responsive and I could tell she cared about our stay. Every bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and soap, and the kitchen had everything you could need, but I couldn't get one of the burners to light. The location is in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to a grocery store. Other areas are a quick 20 min drive and the train is easy to park and ride into town. I would stay here again because overall it was easy and comfortable.
We recently stayed at this property for 2 nights on our way to South Carolina and had an excellent experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful nightâs sleep both nights. The house was spotless, reflecting a high standard of cleanliness. The kitchen was a highlightâit was beautifully designed and equipped with everything we needed- including plates and utensils for little kids. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and communication with the owner was prompt. Overall, I highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a comfortable and hassle-free stay.
Easy and quick access to DC via car or Metro. Nice quiet neighborhood. Living room furniture could use some updating for comfort. Overall very good for families visiting the beltway.
Enjoyable time! The house was a short distance to the groceries stores and the metro. The beds were comfortable. The living, dining, kitchen area was spacious enough for all the family to gather. Would recommend
Wasnât aware that someone lived downstairs, was thinking we had the house to ourselves. On review after obtaining the property I saw that it was in the agreement. I wouldnât have rented the house if I had known this prior.
Lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood that is close to many restaurants and shopping. The area is especially easy to find your way around. As a group of 6 women 68-70 years, we were excited to find a home with enough individual beds to accommodate everyone. The 3 1/2 bathrooms were an added bonus. We found the home to be very clean and the neighborhood to be safe. We absolutely loved the open room concept downstairs.
Unfortunately the furniture was a problem for our age group. The beds were simply not comfortable. Although we were able to ascertain from the photos that there was one room that had a low platform bed, it was extremely difficult for an elderly person to safely navigate. The king size bed consisted of 2 twin size mattresses and the other beds were uncomfortably hard. The twin beds in one room, were perfect for younger children but less for older persons.
We felt that it wouldâve been helpful to have written instructions on how to manage the thermostat settings and to have an explanation about the numerous remote controls for the television. Although the kitchen was well appointed with silverware, glassware and plates, we found it lacking in cookware. We were unable to find a large pot so we had to cook Italian spaghetti in a Chinese wok. Although the listing references a blender, we ended up having to purchase one.
Overall, these things were minor because otherwise, the house did fulfill our needs in many ways. I recommend for a younger family or group.
