Large Family Beach Home in Heart of Cape May - Pet Friendly!
Looking for a place to create lifelong memories in New Jersey's coziest beach town? This is the beach house for you!
The Area
This large family friendly home is a short .4 mile (10 min walk, 5 min bike) to the beach, and a .6 mile (15 min walk, 10 min bike) to the Washington Street Mall area. Around the corner, less than a 5 minute walk, you will find a quaint park with a large pond, jungle gym, swings and a basketball court, perfect for families with children. The home comes with six bikes in the garage for renters' use.
The House:
The house is complete with a Cape May style front porch, fully equipped with adorable rocking chairs, perfect for your morning coffee or an after-the-beach drink. The home also has a sprawling, fenced-in back yard with a large deck for sunbathing and grilling. Out front you will also find plenty of parking both in the driveway and on the street.
Living Areas:
On the first floor when you walk in you are greeted by an open front living room, dining area and kitchen. The dining room table seats 8 and another 4 can comfortably sit at the kitchen island. The kitchen is equipped with all of your basic amenities. As you round the corner you will find yourself in the wet-bar area, stocked with a beer fridge, wine fridge and a second enormous freezer, perfect for storing all of your BBQ essentials! Here you can also find a variety of board games and extra storage and fold-away dining table. Through the wet bar you make your way to the second, back living room. This living room, with sliding glass doors to the deck and back yard, is just as naturally well lit as the front and is complete with a large couch and a second table that can serve as an additional dining space, or as we tend to use it, a game table! The front living room has a gas fireplace, but the pilot light is tricky and we do not want renters to use. The back living room also come with an electric fireplace, making the space extra cozy in the winter months!
The Bedrooms:
On the first floor you will find 2 large bedrooms with queen beds along with a large shared bathroom with both a standing shower and jetted tub. Upstairs, there are an additional 4 bedrooms, two with large queen beds, one with two twins. These three rooms share another large bathroom with a shower/tub. The final bedroom is something of the crown jewel of the home -- a massive master bedroom with a large king bed. The master room also includes a large trundle bed that can be pulled out into two twin beds. However, if you don't need the extra sleeping space, the trundle bed blends in like a couch. There is also a sitting area inside, a deck overlooking the back yard. The master bedroom also comes with an equally large bathroom with two sinks, a standing shower and a large tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach!
Please be aware that we do have a Ring doorbell at the front entrance. We use this for security notifications and to ensure that our cleaning and other service providers arrive as promised.
Please note, we are dog friendly but have a 2 dog limit. The pet fee is $200.00 per pet.

My name is Ellen and I am managing this account on behalf of my parents who bought this house in 2021. We are a family that is so often on the go, so to finally have a place at the beach to call our own has been really special. When we first moved in, Cape May felt new to us, but it only took a few trips to the beach, cruises on the bike around town and strolls down Washington Mall for it to feel like home. We are so excited to be able to share our home away from home with you and have full confidence you will love it, and Cape May, just as much as we do!
