We had the best time! Very clean place. You can’t beat the location and walking right out onto the beach. They were so accommodating for my dogs as well! Matthew was the property manager while we stayed and he was very kind and helpful. Definitely recommend.

During the week the stay was perfect. We were steps from the beach. The property abuts to the public park which meant dramatically increased crowds on the weekend. Very nice stay.

Great place to stay

Pictures were accurate and the place was very clean. The drain in the shower was slow but no deal breaker and a grab bar in shower would be nice.

Beach birthday perfection

Took my daughter for her 15th birthday! We loved it! 15 steps to the beach! Pool was great as well! We had beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler provided! Condo decor was beachy chic! Had a fabulous time!

The location to the beach and restaurants is great. It is very close to Publix and drugstores too. I think it is probably the best place to stay on the island.

Better than described!

When we saw this listing, it looked almost too good to be true, but we took a chance and... it's far better than the description indicates. This entire property feels like mid-century Miami Beach may have felt. Everything is new, and the attention to detail is amazing. They have someone on the property every day and any needs we had (extra coffee pods, a screen door that didn't stay on its track) they handled immediately — and cheerfully. The area surrounding it has an amazing old Florida vibe, with Australian pines swaying in the evening breeze, people celebrating the sunset from the sand, and families grilling at the beachfront park. We felt instantly relaxed and at home, and didn't want to leave. A stay at Mello is like staying at an upscale vintage roadside motel. The four days passed in the blink of an eye, but we will no doubt return — and soon.

The little welcome package was very thoughtful and included a handwritten note welcoming us. We enjoyed the fire pit on some of our cooler days and even dipped our toes in the heated pool! The staff was very helpful. We had a cancelled flight that required us to extend our stay and Giselle was very kind and was able to seamlessly help us with the stay. This place is within walking distance to a few eateries and a quick step to the beach! Would definitely book this place again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My booking was last minute. I looked at a lot of different rentals and was debating between a few in AMI. What sealed the deal was this location...close to restaurants, grocery AND liquor store (can’t buy hard liquor at grocery stores in Florida), and most importantly the beach. The rental was great. They have beach towels, folding beach chairs, small cooler, and a beach umbrella in each room. The room was very clean, and the shower was AMAZING. Bed was very comfortable. The couch was okay..had high arm rests so it was a little awkward, but we managed just fine. The pool area was clean and had plenty of lounge chairs. Mello is located next to the beach, and near public beach access/parking. You have to walk past/through a picnic area to get to the beach. My only dislike was there was a homeless man that set up his “residence” at one of the picnic tables-.
