Mello on the Beach - High Tide

Nostalgic, eclectic, and built to recharge. High Tide is a three-bedroom two-bathroom pet-friendly vacation rental on Anna Maria Island. Formerly the Aquarius Motel and then Anna Maria Island Beach resort, Mello on the Beach is located directly on Manatee Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. This vibrant condo includes a colorful kitchenette, terrace access and private patios for serious mello-ing out.
Rooms are perfectly appointed with fully equipped kitchens, full-size washers and dryers, clothes steamers, and even pet accessories! Guests are provided with an amenity starter kit that includes shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Additional items provided include dishwasher pods, laundry soap, and k-cup coffee service.
Mello on the Beach has everything you need to enjoy a truly relaxing vacation. All rentals are equipped with pool and beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, personal coolers, and much more! Take a dip in our refreshing pool which includes use of lounge chairs, umbrellas, as well as bathroom and shower facilities. After your long day soaking up the sun, fun awaits the whole family on the activity lawn. Take in a game of cornhole, ladderball, or just sit back and relax by the firepit.
Want to explore all Anna Maria Island has to offer? Mello on the Beach has all your transportation needs covered. Take a short stroll across the street to enjoy breakfast at the Holmes Beach Café where locals come to experience some of the best pancakes Manatee County has to offer. Come for breakfast but stay for lunch, shopping, or a rum cocktail at their popular tiki bar. Just a hop in the other direction is another local favorite; Skinny’s offering the best burgers in the area. Looking to venture a little further? Mello on the beach offers on-site bike access for all our guests. These bicycles are one of the best ways to explore the beautiful and vibrant Anna Maria Island. And if biking isn’t your thing, just hop on the Anna Maria Island free trolley which runs 7 days a week from historic Bean Point to the south end of Coquina Beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Mello on the Beach was lovely; from the room decor, furnishings to the spotless accommodations. Nice to have everything you needed for a beach stay. Loved the outdoor family area and pool. We are very familiar with the area and we knew that part of the beach would be very crowded. Staying in the lower floor unit was great (with two young grandchildren) but the noise from upstairs neighbors walking was louder than we expected.

Amazing Condo on the Beach!

We had an amazing stay at Mello! Three girlfriends and I enjoyed a long weekend at this condo and were completely blown away by the charm and amenities Mello offered. The condo was exactly as the pictures showed - maybe even better. The cute decor was consistent throughout the property and it was equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone!

The Perfect Location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We typically rent a house but gave the Mello a shot based on photos and Google Maps. It was amazing! Top-end appliances and fixtures (Hello Hansgrohe!), very clean, comfortable beds and set up! Three main points:1. The location is PRIME. Right off one of the most desirable beaches on the island!2. There are NO spices, staples or anything in the house - but the Publix is a short WALK away.3. There are no smart TV or streaming devices in the house, but wifi is great!

Great location!

Location - This was a perfect location for our first (but not last) trip to Anna Maria Island! A parking lot away from a public beach, a great beach shop, Skinny's Burgers, Publix grocery store, and a beach restaurant with food, drinks, and live music at sunset. We were able to bike 20 minutes south to Bradenton area beach, shops, bars/restaurants; and 20 minutes north to same type of area. Beach walks are perfect and the sunsets are beautiful! Units - We were on the bottom level which we loved as there is a sitting area perfect for coffee in the morning or drinks at night. Firepit was great although we didn't use it because we had warm weather. The pool is clean and private with good chairs, umbrellas if you want shade, and a nice pool house with a bathroom. There were king beds in each of our rooms so it fit 6 adults perfectly. Nice big family room and sitting area in the kitchen for breakfast or games. Spacious closet in the master made it nice to keep clothes, luggage, etc. We got in very late at night and were able to navigate it easily with instructions that were sent the week prior. Nice that each unit has a parking spot as parking is tough in that area. Felt very safe even though close to the public beach. Really great spot! We highly recommend!
