Quality comfort with luxury and style. Featuring 2 king suites and 2 very comfortable queen suites, this rental home will be a relaxing get away for any occasion. A taste of southern comfort. Bring the whole family.
We came into town for a baseball tournament and could not have picked a better location. The sports park was less than 10 minutes away and everything we needed and more was within a mile or two. Check in and check out was very easy. The host is very responsive and nice to work with. We would stay here again!
The property was perfect, it was clean, roomy, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. We had our bridal party stay all together for our wedding weekend, so we could do a rehearsal dinner and then not have anyone drinking and driving. There was plenty of room and everyone was comfortable! The ping pong table was also a hit! 10/10 I cannot recommend this property and the host more! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
This is 2nd time renting this house for our annual Fort Knox deer hunting trip!! Great house and great host thatâs very helpful with anything you need!!
The property was as expected for a VRBO in this price range. The manager was very responsive to needs . Could use more coffee cups, a baking sheet and some mixing bowls .
Huge home where our group was able to prepare for a wedding nearby. The beds slept great and we enjoyed coffee each morning in the keurig. Really enjoyed the back covered deck as the weather was beautiful as well. Highly recommend this property for large groups.
Ty was great to work with. House was very clean and smelled amazing walking in. There were enough rooms and beds for everyone staying. Great location to the stores and restaurants!
Very clean, comfy, quiet, wonderful back porch & yard. Host was very attentive. Perfect for a big family. Great location, minutes away from anything you want or need.
Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the Elizabethtown area!
Set in a nondescript neighborhood a stone's throw from the commercial district of Elizabethtown, this was 'home' for 12 sorority sisters who came for a reunion in Kentucky. There were enough beds with clean beddings, towels and other essentials, as well as, sparkling bathroom/toilets for everyone. All appliances were functional, including flat screen TV sets in each room and the living room. The usable basement provided shelter in the event of a tornado. The best part: Ty was available to assist with any problem or anything we needed.
We came into town for a week long Ripken experience. The property is only 7-10 minutes from the fields with everything you could want around it.
It is way bigger than you would expect. Everything was clean, easy to find and comfortable. My only suggestion would be new pans. We like to cook vs eat out, a reason we chose vbro over hotels. You can pick up good pans at TJ Maxx. I realize these get abused in a property like this but a new pan here or there to keep them nice would be handy!
Linens were great, we even enjoyed coffee on the back porch on mornings we didnât have to run to the field early.
I highly recommend this property for families or a small group heading to Ripken or other activities in that market. We were supposed to split the property with another baseball family. They ended up not attending and we had the place to 3 of us. It was still best value. The large washer and dryer and ping pong in basement was a great benefit too. The hotels charged $7 for wash/dry.
First, communication was bad. 10 minutes prior to check in, I had to text to find out check in directions. It was then that I was told the cleaners didnât come and it would 3 more hours before it was ready. I understand stuff happens, but it would have been nice to know before the stated check in time and if I didnât have to message again just to find out the actual address
I then received check in instructions/rules. One was no eating or drinking on the couch at all (even water). Which would have been nice to know before I booked because that feels very restrictive when you have a family, but regardless, we followed the rule and kept all food and drink in the kitchen.
Then 3 days afterwards, he claimed we left a stain on the couch and wanted to charge us extra for cleaning. I feel like this was an attempt to collect an extra fee, as I know we didnât have anything on the couch (which honestly looked kind of dingy to begin with). But I feel this unusual âruleâ should be disclosed way beforehand.
The house was nicely decorated, but definitely looked as though it could use a deep clean
At check out time, we didnât get check out instructions until 1hour before the actual check out, so if we had left early, we would not have received them in time. Just kind of frustrating, imo. Also, kind of concerned about the check out rule of not taking the sheets off( Iâve never had any other rental say âsheets stay onâ. Makes me wonder how often the sheets are washed
The owner was very nice and responsive. House is in a great location for restaurants, shopping and the Ripken baseball facility. We came to play baseball and it was very convenient to the fields and was the perfect place for 2 families to stay with plenty of room.
The property was great but no one wanted to go to the basement to sleep. The door to the basement location not good for small children if the door is left open.
Property is very clean and conveniently and surprisingly private since located right off a main thoroughfare. Our family occupied every available bedroom during our two night stay with no complaints about beds. We used the oven amd microwave without issue. There was gurgling from the master bedroom toilet (located off kitchen) sometimes when other toilets were flushed. We would stay again if going back to Eliizabethtown. There was the somewhat unusual specific request that no one eat or drink on the living room sofa, which was further enforced by the lack of coffee tables in that room. We took pics of all preexisting marks before using the sofa and followed the rule. We were notified with check in details that there was an outside camera at the front door exterior BUT camera that points at the very back exterior door is inside the house on top of a cabinet and also gets a view of the other exterior door that is at the opposite end the of the kitchen and appears (locked) to lead to the garage. Suffice to say all activity in the kitchen is under surveillance, including the very long and beautiful dining table. Knowing this prior would not have changed our decision to book the property but I will say we did feel a little exposed. This is the first vacation rental we booked that had an interior camera.
Stayed here for a week and it was the perfect base for our time with other family in the area. Super convenient to everything you could need. Home is comfortable with very comfortable beds and plenty of TVs so everyone can watch what they want to.
Kitchen has most everything you may need and we were able to cook things easily. Communication was a breeze and the few questions we had were answered quickly, which we really appreciated. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Family of 10 multi generational needed a place to sleep following wedding at Phillips Grove. This was the perfect place. Clean and comfortable, so much space and so many bedrooms. Younger set enjoyed games downstairs, adults could converse on the sectional in the living room. Would recommend.
