This property is very private and peaceful. It is very well treed with a long private driveway through the trees and an undeveloped forested lot beside it. This means that you can have that feeling of finally being away from it all and can have the privacy you long for so that you can simply exhale and relax into your peaceful cottage holiday. (This is so important, many other cottages are built right next to their neighbours and you don't have that visual privacy that we are so fortunate to enjoy at our Bitter Lake cottage)

Only 5 minutes to the famous Haliburton Forest (Treetop Canopy tours, Wolves viewing and museum, Snow shoe trails and snowmobiling, hiking, mountain biking, restaurant, and more) or Kennisis lake Marina (Restaurant, souvenirs, supplies, boat rentals, and sometime even outdoor concerts!), and minutes to cross country skiing, Haliburton sculpture forest, Sir Sam's Ski Hill and Spa!
