A great one bedroom apartment near UTEP, downtown, local hospitals. Great for traveling professionals. Full kitchen for long stays. Available for longer stays for discounts. Message me for more information
This place is at a cool location (you can see Mexico from the front door) and was clean and well-appointed. The landlord replied to communications quickly. Parking is on the street but was a breeze the whole time. Would recommend.
As a place to sleep, Iâd rate this place as okay. Thatâs about where it stops. I often take negative reviews with a grain of salt; someone expecting too much for too little. Iâm usually pretty indulgent when it comes to rental places. But everyone has their limits and I found mine with this place. Here are a few things I found disappointing:
âąThere was trash in the trash cans from the previous guests; thankfully nothing that would smell. That saved whoever âcleansâ this place a whole two and a half minutes probably.
âąDebris and some dead bugs on the floor.
âąThe rear outer door, which is accessible from the alley next door was unable to be latched, much less locked.
âąLoud dog next door which made you wonder what was going on in the alley.
âąThe split unit a/c worked well in the living room but the bedroom was hot the whole time. There is a makeshift attempt in the wall to provide cool air into that room but it fails miserably. There was a standing fan in there that I also tried to use to get cool air into the bedroom but to no avail.
âąI never could make the Keurig coffee maker work. I tried sending a message to the property manager for a replacement or at least to check if there were any âtricksâ to getting it to work. They never bothered to acknowledge the message much less to fix the problem.
Needless to say, I would never recommend this place to anyone who I know. âYou get what you pay forâ would be too kind to this rental.
