As an avid "outdoorsy" person, I love being a host here in the Pocono Mountains, where each season provides an abundance of new activities to experience.
I am happy to share my favorite spots - whether you're seeking a summer day of hiking...waterparks...white water rafting...speeding in NASCAR stock race cars... shopping at premium outlets & unwinding at local wineries...Or during the fall, enjoying the colorful foliage...And of course as it gets to the winter wonderland season, finding the best slopes known for amazing skiing/snow tubing!
To balance the fun out, visitors can also get a taste of passenger rail service history in nearby Jim Thorpe, a popular place to visit not only by railroad enthusiasts, but also by those who love its extraordinary architecture and unique inns, shops, and restaurants.
Spoiler alert: Jim Thorpe did not live in the town nor is he buried there!
However you choose to spend your time among the plethora of activities during your Poconos getaway, we are just grateful that our chalet was an integral part of your choice in creating these memories.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
The âWinding Way Chaletâ sits on over1 acre inside a gated Poconos Mountains community where guests will have free access with amenties passes to 4 lakes, 2 outdoor swimming pools, a kiddie pool, 4 tennis courts and 2 basketball courts.
Master bedroom located upstairs features a King-size bed with the vaulted ceiling giving the bedroom the true cabin feel.
Bedroom 1 features an aviator Queen-size bed inspired by fighter jets giving the edgy but modern look from Restoration Hardware.
Bedroom 2 features Queen-size bed with Chesterfield leather details from Restoration Hardware giving the room a clean and elegant look.
Living room/Kitchen are an open concept with a vaulted ceiling. A 7ft Chesterfield leather couch that can also be used as a sleeper in front of the fireplace with a 55inch tv above the mantle. (The fireplace is not an amenity).
In the Basement/Ground Level:
-The theater room has a 6ft leather couch , 3 single seats, 65 inch tv , 2 arcade games (Pac-Man,Street Fighter), and a vintage popcorn machine.
- The onsite exercise room has free weights and other fitness equipment.
-The sauna room features a 3 person carbon fiber infrared system with over 9 heaters to provide a great experience. There are also 3 yoga mats for much needed seclusion to namaste.
The Outside:
- From the Exercise/Sauna area, the external Jacuzzi/Hot Tub is easily accessible and holds up to 6.
-The Patio deck features 600sq ft with a dining table that seats 8, propane gas grill, and patio seating area for at least 8.
-Kids tree house features a Twin-size day bed to give the little ones comfort as they play on the PlayStation 4 system in their own secluded bungalow with a 2nd Patio deck.
-Backyard grounds youâll find a fire pit with seating logs providing a great location for all the campfire stories or just a relaxed evening next to fire.
-EV Charger with nominal charging fees.
Addtionally, you will be delighted with the daily visits from deer on the property.
