Il dispose de toutes les commodités nécessaires et d'une plage sur le magnifique lac Cameron, à deux pas de votre porte.<br>Nous sommes situés à proximité immédiate des sentiers de VTT et au cœur d’une région regorgeant d’excellents restaurants, de sentiers de randonnée, de boutiques, de lacs, de parcs et de plages.<br><br>L’espace :<br>« Aries @ The Kabins by the Falls » est un chalet décoré avec goût, niché au milieu des arbres dans un complexe de chalets. Overall was a cute cabin for all that you got! Just a heads up to ppl renting, it only comes with one parking space. To park another car you need to go across the road to another public beach acces that was hit or miss if there were available spots. I know the owners cant help it either,but it was very muddy all along the advertised beach access as well so we weren't able to really get down to use it. Other thing I would advise anyone renting this cabin is about the garbage and beds. Beds were uncomfortable and there were not too many garbage bags to be able to sort through how they needed for all the recycling and garbage. Overall the rest of the listed amenities were there and it was a very cute cabin and the hosts were very responsive.

Nice place to stay for a short weekend away

Clean and cute. Close to the water. Had all the fixings for four.. No outdoor eating area would be my only complaint. Bring chairs for the beach and campfire only Muskoka chairs provided.

Terrific home in Fenelon Falls

The home has been beautifully renovated, super clean and well appointed. Beach access is very limited and not welcoming. Short walk into the centre of town though and all the amenities in charming Fenelon Falls.

Fenelon falls

Cottage small but clean...lots of other cottages nearby so not private..lake access across the street and shared ..when we were there it was quiet and we could enjoy the lake. Paddle boards were fun. Lake was lovely.We went to the Grove theatre which was very close to the cottage.I would recommend this Overall we enjoyed our time

Clean and comfortable!

We were happy with the cottage. Very clean and beds were comfortable. Looked newly renovated. The only criticism I have is it isn't noted in the description that the water has a smell and is not drinkable. The owner provides a 15L jug of water but it's good to make aware of these things prior. We would rent again!

Glenn we are happy you enjoyed your stay! Our water is drinkable and can sometimes have a slight sulfur smell from the well. This is why we choose to leave a water cooler with spring water for drinking.

Weekend at Fenelon Falls!

We were so happy with our visit to this town and this lovely property. We arrived a little early and the owners were kind enough to let us in. While we were aware the weather might not be the best this weekend we were prepared and thankfully the inside of this property was nice enough to stay in. Especially with access to wifi and a TV as well as games. Luckily we had a couple nice days where we enjoyed the paddle boards and kayaks in the small public water access across the street (note: very narrow between peoples docks with a grass entrance leading into a tiny bit of sand). The lake itself was beautiful and the town full of kind and fun people! We explored the falls and the cliffs as well as the park near the museum that had lots of cool games and activities set out. Overall, 10/10 experience

Not a waterfront property

We were disappointed that we felt the picture of the small front and lawn area was part of the property it is not. We would not have rented if the listing was clear that this is not a waterfront property not to mention very small and not private backyard. That picture is a small but of I guess crown land nearby sandwiched between a couple docks. No AC but the cottage did cool off at night. It was a bit warm when the kids were going to bed but comfortable by the time we went to bed I would plan for food that does not require the oven. On the plus side the property was clean and we did not run into any issues and the knives were nice and sharp. They have a couple inflatable paddle boards that are in good condition.

A Gem to Stay At

Aries Cottage was a wonderful place to stay. When you first enter you notice how the place is impeccably clean. With tools for cooking, a couple complimentary toiletries (I was not expecting), nicely made up beds, and a handbook for everything you need answers too that has information and a couple rules all laid out in an non-overbearing way. The public beach is extremely close, I know the add reads as it being kitty corner, and not quite able to see the water from the cottage. Honestly no one in my family minded. A member of my family has mobility problems and was able to ride a mobility scooter right to just before the water and back. It’s grassy all the way to sand just before the water where my little one was able to play and build sandcastles. There is a picnic table down at the water to keep any drinks or towels off the ground while in the water. The water itself is very warm most of the time. With a sandy bottom that goes out quite far. The water equipment was easy to bring to the water and a great to play with. The town of Fenelon Falls has a Friday morning market with a variety of farm to table or home made items. For my family with Celiac Disease (can’t have gluten) there are many options in the little town for us to eat out while not getting sick on vacation. You can view the falls and enjoy seeing boats go through the locks. Overall this cottage is wonderful and I would recommend it to others looking for a gem of a place to stay.

Lovely location, nicely appointed and clean

We were older adult siblings going to Fenelon Falls to attend shows at The Grove Theatre, explore the area and visit with family. The house has 4 clean and comfortable bedrooms (2 on main level and 2 downstairs.) The kitchen is well stocked and has everything needed for your stay. The location was perfect, close to Theatre, Main Street and easy access to highways. There was a smell to the water and once we arrived (no indication in the listing) we found out via a very helpful information booklet that the water was not drinkable. There was a (not full) 15l water bottle there for use but once it was gone we asked for more (we had seen numerous bottles in the garage) but were told as per the listing we we on our own once that was used. Wish we had of known that ahead of time but it was NOT in the listing at the time we booked or at the time of our stay. For the price and cost of filling those bottles drinking water should be included. Our only other suggestion would be to make sure the outside (dusk to dawn) light is on as it was very dark trying to manoeuvre up the stairs. We did not have access to the light from the locked garage but it was left wide open one day and we were able to flick the switch. The garbage disposal instructions were confusing especially when not from the area and familiar with some of the terms. Twice we ended up bringing garbage with us. Despite a few concerns we enjoyed our stay and the place was very comfortable and clean.

Nicely updated cottage

The property does not have a lake view and is kitty corner and a very short walk to a small public beach area that cottagers who are not directly on the waterfront use. Most times during my stay there were not a lot of other people that used it and it’s a nice shallow sandy area for swimming. The cottage is well equipped with thoughtful and useful cooking utensils. There is however no privacy from the cottage next door. We enjoyed using the paddle board. All appliances are new and the BBQ was in great working condition. It is a very short drive to the town proper and Kawartha Lakes ice cream yum! I would recommend.

Monitored

Although the cottage appearance, cleanliness and location were great we did not appreciate the intrusions and feeling of being watched the entire time we stayed. Day one we received an email within 10 minutes of my husbands visit reminding us that we could only have four guest. (For the record he was not staying but as he was working we stayed close so he couod enjoy dinner with us). We observed cars slowly driving by the cottage watching us and then to make matters worse while my children played in the yard a man areived to cut the grass. There was no warning or heads up that this would be happening. I wouldn't have cared except, we never felt at ease with our stay. Despite the fact we were not doing anything wrong but trying to enjoy our stay we couldnt relax feeling under a watchful eye. I also got a message telling me two cars were in the driveway which required me to move one car late into the nigh. I understand that i had misread this in the contract but agin i felt supervised and on watch. Sincerely,

Kimberly, we are sorry you felt this way as we have never heard such a response. We do our best to create a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all. We do have exterior cameras to assure the safety of all our guests and this is noted in the VRBO listing. As per the guest rules only one car per stay is allowed as there are septic systems that can’t be parked on. As for the lawn care we have an automated message that reminds all of our guests that every Thursday there is lawn care that needs to happen. We are sorry that you didn’t have the experience you thought you would but do appreciate that you saw that the location, decor and area is great! Be well.

Clean with all amenities

The property was clean and nicely updated, a perfect amount of space for my husband, myself and our 2 year old. The cottage was comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. It’s conveniently close to town, which has a really nice park and restaurants. The swimming area was great for my daughter to splash and play on the beach. The only drawback was that the cottage is not on the water, the swimming is across the street at a public beach.

Well equipped cosy cabin

The Aries Kabin is well equipped with everything you need, from kayaks and a sup board, to a fire pit and barbecue to enjoy. The cabin has some nice extras like a waffle maker, coffee machine, speaker and is located at a lovely section of the lake. We enjoyed our stay and found the environment and cabin very relaxing. The cabin has a front sun room that we also really liked. The lake was clear and has a sandy bottom, it was very pleasant to swim in. We enjoyed the town, activities at the museum, the local ice cream shop, watching the lock in action and the main swimming beach. Great cabin, thanks for the stay!
