Tucked back from the road in a private sunken desert oasis, magically elevated above the valley floor, this breathtaking 1964 classic post & beam mid-century modern home blends with the environment at every turn. From the private desert enclave at the front to the unhindered views of the valley, mountains, and sunrise from the pool area at the back, this 3-bedroom villa provides a natural environment for the utmost in relaxation, paired with all the modern amenities for a vibrant vacation. Entering the grounds of Vista Olivera, you will notice its sunken setting and natural desert landscaping promotes a true feeling of privacy.
Setting foot on the homeâs polished concrete floors, your gaze will immediately be drawn to the wall of glass granting you views of the pool deck and the amazing valley vista beyond. It frames the large living area where the comfortable seating gives you somewhere cozy to watch the large wall mounted TV, enjoy the open fireplace, or just take in the surrounding views.
The neighboring dining area seats 6 at its white tulip style setting, while the adjacent fully-stocked modern kitchen allows you to whip up a storm, or simply mix up a cocktail at the built in bar with 2 separate wine fridges, under the gaze of Sinatra and Elvis hanging on the wall.
Outside allows you to be enveloped in nature while availing yourself of the large pool and sun lounges, ample-sized raised jacuzzi, or rock-framed backyard fire pit. Thereâs also a separate vanity with a seat plus a large modern en-suite with a walk-in shower.

Located at the northern end of the home, this master suite also offers direct pool views and access. Blue hues throughout are complimented by the art above the hotel quality king-sized bed which features Brooklinen linens. Thereâs also a large wall-mounted TV, full-length closet space, and its own substantial ensuite with double vanity, walk-in shower, and large soaking tub.
The West Guest Room
The West Guest Room features a king bed with hotel quality mattress and super soft Brooklinen linens thatâs framed by super cute dog lamps. Thereâs also a wall mounted TV and ample closet space, plus close access to the hallway bathroom with its slick white look and walk-in shower.

Housekeeping - mid stay cleanings required for stays over 14 nights a minimum of every 14 days of your stay. Guest will be billed for additional cleanings every 2 weeks and scheduled to meet guest needs. These additional cleanings are $505 per cleaning and include a complete linen turnover and amenities refresh. Daily/Weekly cleaning are available if requested with additional fees.
Host with the Most can be available for anything you need & will greet you in person within 24 hours of your arrival.
Guest booking this home must be 25 year or older.
Parties and events are not permitted.
This home allows a maximum of 6 adults plus 2 kids 12 or under.
There are strict music, noise, and parking restrictions in Palm Springs and the booking guest will be responsible for any and all fines incurred during their visit. We reserve the right to immediately cancel any guest stay without a refund if any of the rental rules are violated.
No more than 3 cars may be parked at this home during your stay.
All activities must be taken inside by 10 pm to comply with the city wide quiet hours ... and to be good neighbors.
A copy of a government issued ID will be required of the booking guest along with signing an additional private rental contract acknowledging the rental guidelines and rules and all adult guest names listed on the contract.
Pool heating is optional at a rate of $95 per night of your visit. Spa heating is included with your reservation.
âą This home is not child proofed. Cabinets are not secured, there is a pool and hot tub without child locks, and we do have MANY breakable items in the home. We welcome adults who bring well behaved children but we expect them to fully supervise children at all times and do not advertise or guarantee that the home is in any way child safe /child proofed.
âą NO CHECK-IN ON HOLIDAYS. If your reservation start date falls on any holiday listed you will need to rebook your check-in date. Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Day, New Years Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, & Labor Day.
âąThere are noise ordinances here in PS, so NO MUSIC is allowed outside on any device at ANY TIME. In addition, there can be no outdoor noise after 10PM. There is NO MUSIC ALLOWED OUTSIDE. NO music on your phone, bluetooth device - NO MUSIC. If someone reports you to the City of Palm Springs, or the police, you will be responsible for ANY & ALL fines and you can and will be subject to removal from the property with no refund for unused time. The minimum charge is $500 if they are called out and if a complaint is made to our staff, city compliance, or the police, and/or citation is issues you will be asked to leave immediately with NO refund - so PLEASE have fun but bring it inside after 10PM and remember about the music being a NO NO at anytime outdoors - not even inside with doors open so it can be heard outside.
âą 12.5% tax has been charged as a âTransient Occupancy Taxâ per the City of Palm Springs requirements for any stays under 28 nights.
âąBookings over 28 nights are not subject to TOT tax.
âąAn outside contract is required by the city of Palm Springs will need to be read and signed prior to your visit. A link will be sent after your reservation is confirmed. The responsible guest on the reservation will also need to provide a photo of their government issued ID as required for short term rentals in the city of Palm Springs and must be present for the stay.
âąAll guests will need to read and sign the Good Neighbor Form and a face to face greeting at check in is required.
-Surveillance or recording devices on property - Ring camera at front entry to monitor entrance and noise monitoring device inside main living area and pool area. It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels throughout the property and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. NoiseAware is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. If you have any questions, please ask.
Failure of Tenant to adhere to City regulations will be considered a breach of this rental agreement. Furthermore, Tenant recognizes the right of the manager to ask Tenant and Tenant's guests to vacate the unit immediately if it becomes necessary without a refund of the rental amount.
âąMissing &/or stained LINENS will be charged to the guest at the current rate for replacement. ANY BROKEN OR MISSING ITEMS will be charged to the guest accordingly.
