We stayed here for the Mason City Kennel Club dog show this weekend and had a delightful trip. It was nice and cozy and we would gladly stay here again!
Very comfortable and super close to the hospital, food, gas, gym, whatever you need, to get through your stretch at the hospital. I'm a night shifter and had no issues getting rest here.
We enjoyed our stay there it was very quiet and clean. Very safe area and very convenient to the city. We will gladly stay there on our next visit if available.
We seen them there cleaning the place inside several times while we were staying there and very friendly.
We had a craft show in Geneva and was looking for a reasonable place to stay and we found this little home away from home. Itâs a cute little apartment, parking was ok but a little tight for our big dually truck, but made it work. Angel was very easy to work with and gave us a welcoming Happy anniversary feel. Thank you for the great place to stay in.
Ithe place was clean, stocked with anything I may have needed aside from my own personal affects. Had the pleasure of actually meeting the host who was very kind and asked if I needed anything else in the unit even offered to come and change out the bed for me. A truly great host and a great stay. Thank you
Came to town for a Halloween party, which we attend every year. I usually get a hotel but decided to go with Vrbo this year. So glad I did! So much more comfortable and saved me money. The property host left us a bottle of wine to enjoy. Would definitely recommend! Thank you Angel.
The inside of the apartment is MUCH nicer than the outside of the building. She had a bottle of wine there for us and the place was clean, except for the microwave toilet. We had no significant problems and it all worked out well. We were there for 3 nights.
Small and cozy. In an older part of town. Outside area is run down and a little sketchy but once youâre in the apartment itâs clean and comfortable.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! This place was PERFECT for my stay in Mason City. Exactly as advertised...conveniently located for downtown activities. Clean, cozy, and comfortable and a very pleasant property manager. NOTE #1 - Accessibility for disabled individuals - there are approximately 7 steps that led to my apartment, and 8 steps leading to laundry room. NOTE #2 - If you are coming to Mason City for the annual North Iowa Marching Band Festival (Memorial Day Weekend). this place is PERFECT...it's right on the parage route! I really enjoyed my stay, and if I come back to Mason City, this will be the first place I check on. Thank You Angel! JEP
My husband and I needed to place to stay while we visited relatives. Building smells of smoke. The smoke filtrated into the apartment from the common area. No weather stripping or insulation stripping around the front door. Big gaps between the door and jamb. I put a towel across the bottom of the door and that helped a little, but it still came in because the front door is not sealed.
Secondly, the bedroom windows had sheer curtains on two windows facing the street and parking lot. SHEER- please get
black out curtains. Had to borrow light blankets from my friends to cover the window because people could see right in at night. So the first night we couldn't even turn on the lights in the bedroom. After, that, the blanket on one window was not large enough to cover the whole window. So we still had to keep the lights off during the stay.
Lastly, no soap for the shower. Only two Dial soap foaming pumps in the unit.
This is not your problem, but the parking lot is noisy. One night we witnessed a drug deal taking place in the parking lot and another night, twice in one night people pulled up and honked the horn for people to come out of the building. Guess they were picking them up at 2:00AM and 3:00AM???
Tenants in the building do not appear to be the best.
Probably won't do this unit again.
