Enjoyed being in Clear Lake for the Fourth of July. Clear Lake never disappoints there’s always something to do! Being able to stay altogether in one place and the convenience of the location was perfect for us.

Great time on the lake

Beautiful house lots of room to spread out and have kids entertained. Loved the games! My usually tech loving kids were so excited to sprawl out and play games. Plenty of parking and quite easy to get to home. Would have loved to have stayed longer!

New home away from home.

Felt like walking into a hug! We enjoyed all the seating available throughout the home, two TV areas, clean crisp sheets, amazing shower and unlimited kitchen gadgets to use while cooking. Neighborhood quiet and inviting. We plan to rent again when we come up to visit our extended family. Thanks!

Weekday Getaway

This was a great place for our family to spend a couple of nights and spend some time out on the lake. The location was very convenient, just a short drive to the boat ramp in Ventura, close to restaurants and the grocery store. We had ample space for two teenagers to have their own area and were so glad we were able to bring our dog along. The driveway was long enough to park the truck and pontoon trailer, as well as an additional car. The remodeled bathroom was tastefully done, with extra plush towels. We have already recommended this cute little getaway to our friends.

Texted the property manager and emailed about trying to get early check in and never received a response. Went to check in at an assigned time and person cleaning the house was still there and asked us to come back later. After a day on the lake, that was very frustrating. We did not leave. Has a charcoal grill and not a gas grill. Did not think the beds were comfortable/mattressesshould be replaced. The middle bedroom did not have any airflow -for some reason no air was coming through the register so pretty hot in that room. Does have a well stocked kitchen. No dishwasher. No fire pit, has a couple chairs and an outdoor picnic table. There is a wasp nest by the garage so hard to sit outside Good location to the Lake and a good price.

Hi Mary, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take both communication and check-in logistics seriously. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We returned your calls and left voicemails explaining that early check-in wasn’t possible due to guest departure that morning, but offered luggage drop-off with help from our cleaner—we’re sorry she was still finishing up a few minutes after check-in and understand that was frustrating.- We’ll check into the wasp nest near the garage and the airflow issue in the middle bedroom to ensure everything’s comfortable for future guests.- Mattress comfort can vary from guest to guest, but we’ve made note of your comments as we continue to make thoughtful updates to the home.- The listing does not include a grill, fire pit, or dishwasher, but we appreciate the feedback so expectations remain clear moving forward.Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.

Not cleaned and no communication

Size, location and comfort were great. But the second we entered I noticed all the crumbs all over the counter. We dropped off our stuff and ran to the store to get cleaning supplies after noticing everything. Prior to going to the store I emailed them, and once we got back and started cleaning and noticing more and more things I emailed again with pictures. Over the weekend I never got a response. The morning of check out I emailed again to find out where to put the trash since we couldn’t find any garbage cans outside. Once again no response. In short I don’t believe anyone cleaned the home before we arrived, and the lack of communication is why I give this place only one star
