Lovely two bedrooms apartment 10 minutes from Chicago O'Hare!!! King size bed in the first bedroom, queen size bed and single foldable bed in bedroom two. Sofa sleeper plus two twin air mattresses or queen air mattresses in Living Room (please request it). Beautiful and quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to beautiful parks, shops and restaurants. Train station within walking distance, that takes you to Chicago Downtown or O'HARE Airport. Laundry Room in the building. Only 20 minutes from Chicago Downtown and Lake Michigan.
The space is clean and welcoming. Catherine was a wonderful host and answered our questions promptly. We enjoyed the close proximity to restaurants and shops. It also has very convenient access to public transit, highways, and OâHare Airport. This was a perfect space for our stay and we will recommend this space to friends visiting the area in the future.
Clean, quiet apartment in the heart of Rosemont. It met our needs for a quick trip to the city to attend my commencement ceremony. While the property was wonderful, communication with the host was less than ideal. We didnât receive check in details until 9:30 am the day of our arrival and part of me fully believes we wouldnât have even gotten them then without the involvement of VRBO directly. I donât want to hold it against the host because I totally understand that life happens; it just appears that thereâs a pattern of on again, off again communication fails based on previous reviews. For that reason, book a stay with caution and stay on top of the host for details ahead of time.
I really enjoyed staying in the apartment during my trip. The experience was great and the neighborhood was very quiet which I preferred. The city was beautiful and the food was good. The place was exactly what it turned out to be. Thank you again for hosting us and hopefully you can again in the future.
I didnât read the reviews before I booked and if I had I probably would have booked anyways because I feel each persons experience/perception is different but these reviews were spot on.The property was clean but the old building smelled and was stale in the hallways. The host was polite in her communication but there wasnât much chit chat and I was given the code to get in until 9:30 the night before and then it was in an un marked lock box next to 3 others behind a dumpster not ideal for a woman arriving alone after dark. The blinds in rooms do not block light at all so I was awake at 5 am everyday. The larger room has no AC so Iâm gratefulI brought a fan, and some how I missed on the listing this is a 3rd floor unit and thereâs no elevator so that was fun for my 73 year old friend with 2 suitcases. The neighbors were pretty noisy Friday night late into the evening. There is a traditional coffee pot on site but only instant coffee and kcups were there. I saw no laundry so itâs either in a closet I missed or itâs merely on property somewhere. After all the fees were said and done we would have been better served by staying in a hotel near the convention center instead.
Catherine is a great host super with communication throughout our stay. Property is very clean and well equipped. Don't miss the nice park at the end of the street . Highly recommend this listing.
Overall nice place where we could bring our dog during g our stay so we were happy. The toilet things needing maintenance in the apartment, but overall nice place in a good area and the bed was very comfortable.
We love it very comfortable nice and clean quiet neighborhood beautiful park nearby a house highly recommended for the family or friends group would love it. Thank you for the owner keeping clean and pretty comfortable to have laundry in the house!
The listing was slightly inaccurate in regards to the beds; 1 king per bedroom as opposed to the queen+twin on the listing. The bedroom windows were quite large and blinds didnât block out much of the street lights/morning light so it was slightly difficult to sleep. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Very close to the OâHare airport and the property felt safe.
Our first red light was the location of the lockbox for the keys. It was on a bike rack located behind a dumpster along with four other lock boxes, with no instruction as to which one it was the correct one. We finally.figured it out which one it was after checking all of them..We got in the apartment and it smelled stale . The beds were clean, they were two of the few things that were. There was food stains on the furniture and tape on the window in the bathroom. Communication was minimal and dismissive. We also brought our dog. One of the reasons we chose this place is because the listing showed grassy areas and a park . When we got there the park was half a block away and there was signs saying no dogs allowed. It was primarily parking lot. We tried to talk to the owner of the apartment and she wouldn't.communicate with us. The per night rate was so inappropriate for the tiny, dirty place we got. Also the window covering didn't block out any light whatsoever. It looked like the middle of the day at 2 in the morning. It was a very long miserable stay that was actually only about 18 hours in total. If I could I'm would've given negative stars.
Reservation was cancelled the night before arrival (apparently they double booked). Full reimbursement was made but I was left in a panic, trying to find accommodation, the night before a morning flight, knowing I was attending a trade show, so all the hotels nearby were sold out or abominably expensive.
It was a great launching pad for my needs. 5 minutes to the airport and by my work. It is a bit of a drive to downtown probably 30 minutes, but if you have anything to do in the farther north area of Chicago I couldn't ask for a better middle point for the price. The beds were super comfy too.
