Comfortable, colonial style home. Enjoy relaxing on the large patio with a view after a day of touring the Black Hills. 30 minutes from Mt. Rushmore and the Keystone area. Close to parks, shopping and recreational facilities. Quiet neighborhood adjacent to Meadowbrook G.C. Garage available for our winter guests. Owner is near if special attention is requested by guests. Weekly and monthly rates are available if desired. Contact host for rates.

We enjoyed relaxing in the backyard. We had a family gathering and thoroughly enjoyed our time. This location was conveniently close to Rapid City, the Badlands, and Custer State Park. We had a great time.

The housr was exactly what we needed. It was clean, close to downtown, and quiet. There were individual air conditioners in each room. We would stay there again. The damage deposit was too high.

This place was so nice.Very Accommodating to all of us Guests perfect stay for riding to all the places on our list and come back to very quiet relaxing place on the patio to end each night highly recommend anyone to stay here!

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. The 5 bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs worked great for us . It would work great for a family. The house was clean and very well kept. The host was quick to respond to questions and very helpful. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. I would recommend this rental to others and consider staying there again.

Thanksgiving getaway

We met our son in Rapid City for Thanksgiving and our stay was perfect. The house is in a great neighborhood next to a golf course. Everything in the house meets the description of the house from VRBO. The kitchen was fully stocked so we could fix a Thanksgiving feast! We would stay here again if we come back to Rapid City.

Base for National Parks

This was a great home base to visit all the national parks in the area. The quiet neighborhood was so relaxing. The beds were comfortable. The house was big enough that even with 7 of us in it everyone could find their own space to relax. We would definitely stay here again.

4-day stay, 8-hour drive from Nebraska

Very clean... Multi room large house, full kitchen with a pool table in the basement. Taught my 13-year-old girl to play over our stay, very fun. All the convenance of a city of 80k people and quick access to all the site-seeing. Really enjoyed our trip!

Excellent Location

This property is an excellent location. Travel time to Mt. Rushmore, Sturgis, and Deadwood was within 30 minutes. The owner, C. A. Piper, responded to messages promptly. If you are looking for a family oriented location this is your stop. It has focus on how families spent time with each other. Board games, pool table, and movie watching. Looking to get back quality time with the family this is the place.

Clean house in a quiet neighborhood

I give it top ratings for cleanliness. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The only complaint I heard was that the air conditioning could barely keep up in the upstairs. Overall it was a great experience and I would recommend it to others.

Cozy, Convenient and Very Clean

The house has lots of combinations of rooms so was versatile for our multi family stay. The extra two twins in the basement were a nice surprise too. The house had lots of conveniences that made it feel cozy (ziplocks, laundry soap, and shower soap, paper towels etc) The furniture and decor is definitely from the past but cozy and clean so it worked. Multiple rooms to gather and hang out. We would stay again. The host was awesome! Very responsive and flexible. The only comment for the host was the upstairs tub is very slippery getting in And out. Thanks for a wonderful clean and affordable stay.

Great home with plenty of space

Home was in a perfect area for tournament and had plenty of space for the family. Home needs to be decluttered to give a little more space and look inviting. It served its purpose. It would have been nice to use the garage, but too much stuff in there and eventually locked for no access.

Chicago Jazz Ensemble comes to the Hills!

My band, all of whom are from Chicago, came out to Hills for a weeks worth of shows. The house was very clean, comfortable, and charming, the owners responded within minutes, and the quiet location next to the golf course was perfect for musicians who were sleeping in until 9 or 10am. I already have the owners' info saved for the next group of musicians I bring in. I highly recommend this property. p.s. - the patio was a GREAT hang, and the neighbors were all very nice. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!

Good Price for Family

Homey and appreciated christian items around the house. We were surprised by the temporary air conditioning units in some of the bedrooms. Two of the five bedrooms had no air and it was 90 the day we arrived. We realized two days later that our room was warmer because the window was open. Had to keep our door open with three fans running to try to push air into the room across the hall. Didn’t use basement due to mildew smell and unsafe for little ones. Breezeway was unexpected and made it difficult to use the lovely patio that I thought would be one of our main places to hang out - too out of the way to get there and weather didn’t cooperate. The doors upstairs need oiling - was afraid of waking everyone up if I got up in the night. Front door doesn’t open all the way due to flooring. Tree out front on right could be trimmed as I had to maneuver to get in the car while trying to keep from getting wet from neighbors auto sprinkler.

Exactly What We Needed for Our Trip

We had a great stay! The house is older, but it was very clean and had everything we needed for our group. It was the perfect home base for all of our South Dakota adventures. Comfortable, cozy, and just right for relaxing after a long day of exploring. We’d stay here again!

Best VRBO ever.

This was an exceptionally clean property. The property was next to a golf course and the neighborhood felt very safe to take daily walks in. We only had 4 adults staying, but there was enough room for many more. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We were impressed with the comfort of the beds including the softness of the sheets and bed coverings. The house was fully functional including a well-stocked kitchen. If we ever came back to this area, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else! This was the best VRBO I have ever stayed in.
