Secluded Cabin with Hot Tube Within Driving Distance To Multiple WV Tourist Spots

Mountain Momma Hideaway is your cabin for all occasions when visiting Wild, Wonderful West Virginia! Located in a central area to all things exploring and adventuring, the cabin accommodates up to 5 people on beds, more with air mattresses & and sits on 3 private acres.

The cabin includes the following: keyless entry, a 12ft x 20 ft back patio that is literally in the woods, complete with patio furniture and with a hot tub with jacuzzi jets. A fire pit, large front porch with porch swing and Adirondack chairs, a large driveway, and everything you'd need to feel right at home. Luxury, eco-friendly sheets and linens, fully-equipped kitchen with the Keurig and coffee pods, board games, a desk, dressers, all shower needs (by request) and even some fun extras can be found at the cabin. There is Wifi for you to stream your favorite streaming apps or music. Most cell phone providers have service here.

There is a king bed in the loft, a queen bed in one of the main level bedrooms and a twin in the other. There is a queen-sized air mattress if you need it. Just tell us to leave the sheets out!

Rustic getaway

The cabin was just what we were looking for. The hot tub was great and the location is close to hiking, climbing and lots of places to fish. There is no TV, and the wifi was hit or miss, but we were looking for a weekend away to unplug so this didn't bother us at all.

Three of us who are now empty nesters decided to take a break together. The cabin was exactly as described and exactly what we were looking for. We played games in the evenings, soaked in the hot tub. We headed to Smoke Hole Canyon for a hike one day too. Highly recommend!!

Christmas stay

Our family of four thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mountain Momma Hideaway. All the amenities are as described and the pellet stove kept the place so warm and cozy. The kitchen was very well stocked for our holiday meal cooking. The hot tub was an excellent reward after an afternoon of hiking Cave Mountain- Redman Trail. Would stay again.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at your cabin Sara and just wanted to thank you for providing all of the amenities to feel just like we were at home! The location is just perfect and we love we had total privacy. It was such a great place to celebrate our 10 year anniversary!

It was a nice quiet place to get away from it all. The whole area is beautiful. We hiked a Seneca Rocks. Went on a tour at Smoke Hole Caverns. It was a very nice vacation for our family.

Family get away

Excellent place to stay, quiet place. Relaxing place to unplug and just enjoy family company. Hot tub was great after hiking all day. Plenty of towels for family of six. Beds very comfortable and appreciated the fans. Thank you again for sharing your cabin.

Great for the whole family

We had a great time staying at the cabin! Everything was simple and the trip was really enjoyable. We brought our 2 dogs and 6 month old baby and felt very comfortable here. We can’t wait to come back and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys the area as much as we do :)

Lovely secluded cabin

Very cute cabin and well appointed. Ideal fir the two of us. Best hot tub we have experienced in a cabin and good fire pit. Host was super responsive thru the entire process.

Anniversary Forty-Six

We had a great time at the cabin. The hot tub is super nice. The setting is very peaceful. We visited Seneca Rocks nearby, Fort Mulligan (an earthen Civil War fort), and The Grove Coffee Shop. The owners were very helpful and communicated quickly. Highly recommend this spot!

Wonderful place for 23rd wedding anniversary

My husband, myself & our dog really enjoyed our stay here. It’s located in an area where you feel secluded yet within 15-30 minutes you can be in the small town for groceries or to take a hike on one of WV beautiful hiking trails. The owner has a very well stoked kitchen for cooking as well as they’ve decorated the whole cabin to where it’s warm & inviting. The beds are comfortable, too!! We will definitely be coming back and have already recommended to some of our friends & family. You won’t regret booking this adorable cabin.

Everything was great The owner was super responsive and helped us resolve few very minor problems promptly. The location is great giving you absolute privacy. The cabin is well designed and well maintained The hot tub is absolutely amazing. It definitely met our expectation and we had great time. Thank you Sarah and Mike.

Beautiful and rural

Pros: The cabin seemed newly renovated and updated, but still had some of the classic cabin vibes which we liked. The beds were very comfortable / soft and the location was very peaceful, private and rural, so beware if you don’t like to be at least 25 minutes from civilization. The road was gravel for about a half mile before getting to the cabin. We had no problems in our sedan getting to and from (this was during the summer mind you. The road is very steep so winter may be a different story). Cons: From our experience, the shower wasn’t all that clean. Some of it seemed like more long term grime. The hot tub also had some grime around the rim, but overall mostly clean. There was a bag of laundry left from the past cleaning in one of the rooms as well. The wifi was ok but consistently would stop working. I probably reset it about 4-5 times over the course of 3 days. The worst was definitely the mice visiting us at night. Not sure where they are coming from but a few traps would be ideal all things considered. We were unaware of this and they got into some of our food and woke us up on numerous occasions since the master bedroom is a balcony room overlooking the living room / kitchen area. Overall, we had a great time and the cabin is a great place to get disconnected from it all.

Most relaxing weekend

Loved the woodland experience. The cottage was great; cozy and relaxing. Everything you would need at the opening of a cabinet. Quiet, secluded, and peaceful. The hot tub was the main attraction for us after a long day of hiking. The owners were a text away when needing assitance. My fur babies loved the time and space as well. The front porch was the main attraction for them. Hopefully do this again. Thank you Omalley's for letting us stay.
