Charming cottage for the perfect nature getaway
Relax with friends or family in this charming cottage that is perfectly located near mountains for hiking adventures in the spring, water activities at Lake Winnipesaukee in the summer, leaf peeping in the fall, and skiing at Gunstock in the winter. Enjoy a morning coffee by the large front windows that open to a deck with a gas grill. The living room has board games and is equipped with a smart tv for guests to log into their favorite entertainment apps.
THE HOUSE
This cozy home, located in the tranquil Locke Lake community, invites you to relax and unwind from the moment you step through the front door. Spend your days exploring the community's private beaches, then return home to a warm and inviting atmosphere that will make you feel right at home.
Soft neutral colors and minimalist design are used throughout for a calming feel. Whether you're snuggling up with a good book, chatting with friends, or simply enjoying a quiet moment to yourself, the living room with floor to ceiling windows is the perfect place to be. Sink into the soft cushions of the recliner or cuddle up on the couch.
Guests will have access to the whole house and yard. Sit back in an adirondack chair around the natural stone fire pit which is accessible from May to October.
Fireplace is seasonal, please reach out the host for more information.
THE BASICS
Each bed has a memory foam mattress, pillow options and soft cotton linens. Heating and cooling in bedrooms are controlled independently for customized comfort. A bath/face towel for each guest and a blow dryer are provided.
The kitchen is equipped with cooking tools/cookware, dinnerware/flatware including options for children, coffee, tea, cooking oil and basic spices. Washer, dryer and detergent are also available at no extra charge. A propane grill is also provided for outdoor cooking and hanging out on the deck.
FOR CHILDREN
A portable crib and high chair are provided. Please note that the home is not childproofed. Children should be supervised at all times.

- 15 minutes to Alton Bay for restaurants
- 15 minutes to southern tip of Lake Winnipesaukee which is surrounded by idyllic waterfront towns
