As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a comfortable living room, where you can unwind and enjoy the comforts of home. The fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, and all the necessary appliances, invites you to unleash your culinary skills and prepare delicious meals for your family. Savor your creations at the dining table, surrounded by the warmth of the space. When it's time to relax, you can take advantage of the free WiFi, Roku streaming, and the selection of card games and books, perfect for entertaining both adults and children. Step outside and enjoy the fresh air on the porch, or on our newly built deck with outdoor furniture. For those who love the great outdoors, Lake D'Arbonne State Park is just a 16-minute drive away and offers a wealth of opportunities for exploration and recreation. This vacation home is equipped with all the essentials you need, including 4 bedrooms (FYI: 4th bedroom doesn't have a T.V. and the AC vent doesn't blow as hard as the rest of the rooms), 2 bathrooms, cotton towels, a hair dryer, an ironing and board, and air conditioning and heating to ensure your comfort throughout your stay. With the convenience of a washing machine and dryer, you can pack light and focus on creating lasting memories during your time here. In addition, our house is truly a treat for fishermen. Lake D' Arbonne is one of the top fishing lakes in the country and home of some of the top fishing tournaments in the US. Even if just for relaxation and to unwind from the hustle and bustle of daily life, Lake D'Arbonne is a great place to go to unwind.

FYI: Parking is limited due to narrow roads. No events/family gatherings held allowed at the house. Boat launch is nearby.

Lake House

Our recent weekend stay at this lake house was absolutely fantastic! The property was exactly as described – clean, cozy, and with plenty of room for our family to spread out comfortably. We were staying there to be close to the venue for my daughter’s wedding. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it provided the perfect peaceful escape we were hoping for. We thoroughly enjoyed the tranquility and the overall atmosphere. We would definitely recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a relaxing and spacious retreat.

Family Getaway

Perfect for our family getaway. We had a group ranging from children to senior citizens. The house was clean, spacious, and well stocked. Laurie's communication was great before and throughout our stay. The neighbors were also friendly. I would highly recommend.

Great location for our annual fishing trip

The location was great with easy access to fishing areas and public boat launch. Located in a small, quiet community. The host was able to accommodate a last-minute schedule change with no issues. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful stay

This was a wonderful trip for our family. We were visiting the area for a funeral and this beautiful home was perfect for us. Absolutely gorgeous views of the lake and we spent many nights playing games and building puzzles to keep us occupied! Televisions available for the older kiddos. Very spacious and lovely decor that touched us on a personal level. The owners were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure that everything was perfect for us. We will most definitely be staying here anytime we are in the area and I would recommend 100%

Fantastic choice!

The beds are super comfy. The property is extremely clean. There are smart TVs in the bedrooms. Two bathrooms with showers. The washer and dryer are FULL SIZED washer/dryer. Definitely a win for a family stay. 10:10 recommend.

Every detail has been thoughtfully added to this property.

From walking in the first impression is the cleanliness and the 2nd is the view! The host communications are accurate as you could ever want before, during and after the stay. Laurie is not only a gracious host but makes sure you are comfortable at thier Luxury rental. We had a wonderful time and will be back yearly. As frequent travelers this luxury rental is the best stocked to date. Thank you again and to anyone contemplating this rental I give this 5 stars!!!

Peaceful stay on the water

We decided to book a last minute trip to Louisiana. I was looking for a pet friendly rental in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Laurie was quick to respond to my questions before booking. The house was right on the water in a super quiet neighborhood, just like I was looking for. Would definitely book again!

Christmas at the llama house

The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a welcome surprise. The location was right on Lake Darbonne. Anytime that the sun was out, we could gather in the sunroom and enjoy the view. We had an amazing time just relaxing in the comfortable house with family.

We stayed at Mercy Me for the DBB World Series. It was perfect for our 2 families of 3 staying. We were 30 minutes from Sterlington Sports Complex. The house was beautiful and my favorite thing was having coffee every morning in the sunroom! Would definitely recommend!! You won't be disappointed!

Beautiful View and Location

Great location and view of the lake. Baseball families looking for an alternative to hotels when playing in Sterlington La…… this is perfect!! Kids can fish from the back yard and it’s only 20 minutes to the complex. Host is wonderful. Communication for checking in and details about the property were clearly communicated. She was willing to help in any way 😊

My friends and I rented this house to stay at during the weekend of one of my friends wedding that was on the lake. It met our expectations! It was the perfect size for 6 with extra room for another couple if needed. The views was wonderful! The owners were very polite and was only a text away if we needed anything. Perfect location also, minutes away from town. Defiantly will keep this house in my favorites for any of my future stays.

So relaxing!

Wanted a family weekend somewhere close! This property was clean and had everything we needed. Looks small from outside but has so much open floor plan for visiting. There were board games, a poker table and my in-laws loved the recliners facing the water with a panoramic view! I could go on because it was amazing. Even the neighbor came to help us take a family pic! The host was helpful with any questions I had… don’t pass up this one! We definitely will be back!

Family Fun

This was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting other family who live nearby. It is welcoming and very clean. We are accustomed to bringing along ‘extras’ when we rent…no need here as the entire home is well-stocked. The view is amazing from inside and outside; even the lawn was beautiful. We felt safe and secure; strolling the friendly neighborhood was a treat. Laurie was very attentive to check in with us to see if we needed anything. All of our expectations were met with a ‘plus’. We are planning a return visit to Mercy Me!

Our neighborhood is very peaceful, nice and quite often featuring beautiful sunsets and birds around.
We kindly ask, all our guests please read our rental agreements ,house rules and policies. Please understand we don’t know you and we don’t have a Crystal ball to see who is good and not. We just need to be in the same page to avoid misunderstanding. Please read before booking to see if our house meets your expectations. Thank you for your understanding.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Nice, Quite and very close to town. The house and the serene view of the lake is truly a beautiful place to relax and unwind from your busy schedule.
The house is in an island. We have limited parking due to narrow driveway and road. NO EVENTS/Gatherings Held in/at the house. For liability reasons, only registered/approved guests are allowed to stay in/at the house.
Due to unpredictable weather, you may experienced power outages, the house doesn’t have standby generator. Weather conditions and road/neighbor’s construction projects are beyond hosts
