This Lake Darbonne lake house is 1600sq. ft. It’s a comfy, cozy home with beautiful views. Awesome deck, yard( double lot), boathouse(single boat lift), dock, boat ramp on the property, extra lot next door for parking vehicles and boat trailers, fire pit with wood, 3 kayaks for you to use. ( we have 4 orange life jackets, or bring your own if you prefer). We do not allow parties, events, or gatherings and only approved guests are allowed on the property please. If our place fits your small family or group's needs, we’d love to have you.

Easter Break Get-Away

We enjoyed everything about our stay at the Lake House - both of our daughters enjoyed fishing off the pier, we rode our bikes, had smores, drank coffee on the swing - grilled our favorite sausage & boudin while listening to great tunes, just a great time! Mrs. Dee has a real gem here - everything was easy to locate or use! Hoping to return as soon as we can - Thank you so much for such a welcoming place.

Anniversary Get-Away

House and property are great - a private boat ramp with nice dock/pier, paddle boat and kayaks. The house was nicely furnished, kitchen well stock. Host even provided bottled water and snacks!! It was a great retreat even though it rained. Would definitely rent this lake house again!!

New Years Fishing Trip

This is our second time staying at this property and it never disappoints. Dee is such a sweetheart and always makes sure we have everything we need. We caught fish (from the boat and dock), made it to a Monroe Moccassins hockey game, and enjoyed plenty of time relaxing on the sofa playing games! The property is spacious, clean, and has everything you could need for a lake getaway! We will be back soon!

Turning 65 at the lake

In a word-WONDERFUL! Water view was beautiful. Lake house was extremely clean & comfortable. Had all we needed & more. Host went above & beyond to help us feel welcomed & familiarized with the area. This is a great property with a gorgeous view! Plenty of room to relax and enjoy the lake. Older siblings getaway. Our hostess, Dee, was very attentive and accommodating. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. We would HIGHLY recommed this property and look forward to another family getaway.

3-day Weekend Retreat!

We have stayed on D'Arbonne Lake many times, and this is our favorite lakehouse. The large windows bring the picturesque views of the lake all the way into the kitchen and living room. Lots of room inside and out. The living room has lots of comfy seating. We spent time on the porch, the deck, and the firepit - did not expect so many great spaces to relax. Well stocked, clean, well-maintained, everything looked as advertised on the listing, great communication from host. We will definitely stay here again.

Host were great, property was very cozy, quiet, and relaxing. Having your own boat launch and dock house made fishing very easy. Farmerville is a wonderful town and everything you need is a 15-20 minute ride so its just close enough but still far enough to be quiet and relaxed. Looking forward to going back

Great set up - exactly as expected

The pictures represented the home, property, and views accurately. We stayed for a long weekend to kick off the football season by cooking, watching football, and our semi-annual cornhole tournament by the lake. The living room layout and furniture was spacious. Coffee on the deck in the mornings overlooking the lake was a great way to start each day. Everything was stocked as expected. The house was clean and well-maintained. We will definitely stay here again!

Relaxing family vacation

Beautiful lake house for our family vacation! Had plenty of room and was extremely clean. Very quiet and peaceful with amazing views. There’s plenty of room to park trailers. All the amenities that come with this house made for a wonderful week! Any and all questions were answered, and taken care of asap. We were sad to leave but looking forward to the next trip! Definitely recommend this property, as well as the owners!

Absolutely perfect! The house meet every need. The boat launch and boat dock made it very convenient for me coming and going fishing. The wife and family enjoyed the dock to fish and just sit and visit. Saw some beautiful sunrises during the week! Dee was an amazing host. Thanks again for a wonderful week!

DonnaSue's Lakehouse on Lake Darbonne

This property was just what we were looking for when we booked a relaxing weekend getaway. The house has a beautiful view of the lake with great amenities including a very nice dock and wharf, paddle boat, kayaks, firepit, outdoor swing and nice back porch. The house was very clean and spacious with very comfortable beds and welcoming touches throughout. It's in quiet area and close to Farmerville and Lake Darbonne State Park and about 30 minutes away from Ruston. Easy check in and communication with the hosts. My only regret is we did not have more time to stay longer. We would definitely rent again.

I think we upset the owner because we didn't check out properly. Either way, us guys, love this place! Cozy! Fish cleaning station! Your own personal boat ramp! Very Clean! Well kept inside and out! Fire pit!

Wonderful lake side home

We really enjoyed our time at the lake house. Beautiful home!! Spent the weekend with our two college children there in Ruston, and their grandparents. We all met at the house. Plenty of space for all of us in the home, even though I must say we spent most of our time outside enjoying the yard, boat deck, and all the outdoor activities we could. Used the paddle boat and kayaks available and the boys fished off the deck and on the paddle boat the whole weekend. Great experience! Check in was super easy, and everything we needed was available during our stay at the house. Can’t wait to come back!

Love the lake house

Very clean. Home is very cozy and fully furnished. Beautiful views. Master bedroom with big windows overlooking the lake as well views from the dining and kitchen area. Great place for fishing. Lake house has kayak and paddle boats with life jackets. Fish cleaning station is a big plus for cleaning fish. GPS stopped working before we got there but just follow 2.1 miles till you get to the address. We are already thinking for next year. Thank you from Houston!!

Peaceful Retreat

Such a perfect location and a great house with everything you need to have a great time at the lake. We played board games with the kids, went fishing, sat outside and enjoyed the quiet and kayaked some. House is clean and has everything you need. Hosts were so helpful when we had questions.

Great place to stay!

This house was perfect in every way right down to the bathroom towels! The kayaks and paddle boat were a big hit with the kids! We will definitely be back!

I'm a retired teacher and this was my parents' weekend get away. My husband and I have taken it over, renovated it and hope to continue making family memories here. We hope small families will enjoy time here and love it as much as we do.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Our lakehouse is very roomy with beautiful views from the main rooms. You won't find a cleaner place either. We do all of the cleaning, yard work and upkeep ourselves. It's a labor of love.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Lake D'arboonne is one of the best crappie lakes in the south. We've hosted numerous fishermen/women who love our place because it has a boat ramp and plenty of parking on the property. Families have enjoyed fishing for brim right off the dock.
