After a vibrant night of leisure, return to your serene and peaceful haven to recuperate and do it all over again the following evening!
We enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was fine for us. Steep steps to the upstairs, limited who stayed up there. Parking was no problem. Thanks for the porta-crib! Quiet neighborhood! Was very clean.
House was in overall good condition. Check in and out was very simple. Communication with host was very good. Answered questions quickly. Would stay here again.
We had a lovely stay here. The house was cute. Small, but what we needed. The only thing to know is that there is a difficult flight of stairs to two of the bedrooms. If you are traveling with any one on the older side, they will need the first floor bedroom.
The place was good overall. It may be old but everything worked properly (fridge, kitchen sink, shower, toilet, tv, lights, wifi, AC). The linens were clean and the beds were really comfortable. Only real complaint was that the floors didn't feel super clean. Otherwise, it was a good place for our 8 people to sleep and hang out. Located close to downtown core and the nightlife districts so location was good, but you definitely want to lock your car and the front door at night. I'd say it was a decent value for what we paid and really just one negative point, would recommend.
The house was neither cozy, nor beautiful. The decor and furnishings seem to have come from yard sales or discarded sidewalk trash. The living room had two couches, one of which was a pull out sleeper, which was super uncomfortable to sit on so I didnât investigate it any further. However, the linens that were in a bag for it were soiled so Iâll just assume the worst. The other sofa was a recliner that only one side worked. The kitchen sink faucet is not attached to the actual sink so it was a bit challenging to use. The bathroom sink did not have a sink stopper which I found out when I dropped an Advil. Thankfully, it wasnât something more important like a piece of jewelry. The floors inside the home are uneven from room to room, and then in some places feel like they are sinking. The walls were dirty/dingy with only a coat of primer covering a pink paint job. There are no useable electrical outlets or shall I say very few. The ones that were there are taken up with power strips and extension cords to run various items in the house. The downstairs king bedroom faces the street and does not have black out curtains. For light-sensitive slippers, bring eyeshades. For the rooms upstairs, there are no banisters at the top to prevent someone from falling back down so for the older folk or children probably not a good idea to be up there. The neighborhood as is the house is a bit rundown to be polite. For the nightly price, it seems a bit of a rip off.
