Helen's Hideaway is a great place to either just get away or celebrate special occasions with family and friends. Fully Renovated 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin with fireplace. The kitchen is equipped so you have what you need to cook it up for the whole family. Enjoy using our brand-new hot tub. There is a Vahalla Resort Spa in the gated community, restaurants, and a golf course for those golfers in your family. The cabin is nestled in the mountains. This cabin doesn't disappoint. Only 3 mile drive from downtown not walking distance due to mountainous location. Entrance gate is on back road of downtown Helen.
Such a charming property. Nestled up in the mountains, it was the perfect place to stay after a busy day in Helen. The host was gracious and helpful. The house was decorated for fall. All in all a great place to take family and friends.
We had a great time in Helen. This cabin is perfectly located and although it could have been a bit cleaner, we had no major issues and really enjoyed the stay. We recommend this rental!
We had an incredible weekend getaway. We were close to Anna Ruby Falls, Tubing, and downtown. Hosts were super responsive & friendly. Uber/lyft was an easy low cost option as well which was perfect.
Nice cabin in a secluded woodsy area. Nicely decorated with a relaxing screened porch in back. Nice separation of rooms.A challenging drive to get to from the entrance so be aware of that.
Great property! Everything was as advertised. Sure there are a few little blemishes here and there but honestly it made the place feel more âhomeyâ. It made us more relaxed and not afraid to touch anything. If I had to nitpick anything and it didnât affect us at all because we didnât care to use it was the game room. There were lots of board games I saw but we didnât get into themâŠâŠThe pool table is fine. I saw some people complaining about it. For what it is it is fine. Nobody is planning the world championship billiard competition at Helenâs Hideaway. Itâs fineâŠâŠDartboard needs some new dartsâŠâŠthe arcade basketball games frame is broken. again, didnât bother us, but if youâre traveling with kids you may wanna be aware. Altogether, very nice cabin in a safe neighborhood with all the basic amenities you would want/need to use on vacation.
Two families of 4 stayed the weekend before Christmas and it was a great time! Close proximity to downtown as well as to fun and easy hikes. The house was clean, beds comfortable and the basement game room was a lot of fun. Worth noting, the two twin bedroom is the only bedroom on the bottom floor, and is very small with no windows. It worked fine for the two young boys (7 years old) but it could be a little scary for some littles.
Decided to take the family to the mountains for Thanksgiving and came across this cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for! Extremely cozy and comfortable and the Christmas decorations were an added bonus that we loved! Everyone was extremely pleased with the cabin and all it had to offer. The place was also immaculately clean! Would 100% stay here again! Fairly quick access to and from town just have to traverse the hills.
Our family went to Helen the weekend after Thanksgiving to celebrate the lighting of the town and Christmas markets. This was a perfect place for our stay, less than 10 minute drive to the town. This house is 3 stories and plenty of room for our family of 5 and the hot tub was everyone's favorite. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful and Christmas decorate house.
The property was clean, beds were comfortable and plenty of space for 4 couples. Hot tub was great, spacious open and well stocked kitchen/living room. Loved the screened in 2 level back porch and the views from them were very private. Close to town. Would stay again.
The cabin is set up beautifully and every detail was intentional and completely thoughtful to make sure you have everything you need to have a great stay. We will definitely be back!
I sadly didnât make it due to illness. The owner was wonderful and communication was great. My friend group went on without me and loved the property and decided we will all be going back to this exact property so we can all appreciate it even more. They loved the home and the surroundings and said the stay was perfect. I canât wait to go next time!
Me and 7 of my closest girlfriends booked this cabin for a 5-day weekend retreat and it was absolutely wonderful! 2 of the ladies ended up having to cancel, so it was just 6 of us. The neighborhood was so quiet and peaceful. I can't begin to tell you how much time we spent just sitting on the screened-in porch and just listening to the birds, or the rain, or just talking.
The beds were comfortable, the house was quiet (even when it was storming outside), and the Wifi was good. We never turned on the TV. I did check out the hot tub (which was very warm) but we never used it, so I can't say if the jets worked. We had no trouble cooking, and found dishware and cookware easily. We even found some extra coffee pods when we ran out of the coffee we brought :)
The only complaints I would have (and they are really more like FYI's rather than complaints because these things did not take one single thing away from an amazing weekend!) is that the image of the game room is misleading. The Foosball and Air Hockey tables are no longer there, and the pool table needs to be re-felted, so we couldn't play on it. Secondly, that the limit of 3 cars for parking is VERY strict. We were able to squeeze in a 4th car, but that's it. The hosts told us we might be able to squeeze in 5. Had all of my friends been able to come, we definitely would have had trouble squeezing a 5th car into the limited parking.
150% would rebook! Thank you!
Cabin looks exactly as presented online. Very clean. Very comfortable. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Hot tub is lovely. The screen porch allows you to sit comfortably outside without getting eaten by mosquitoes. This was a great place to stay for a quiet weekend.
Just one heads up - the roads to the cabin are narrow, winding, and steep. The location is beautiful and serene, but be ready for the north Georgia mountain roads.
