You'll have private access to the entire Suite and yard. Plenty of parking in the driveway. Enjoy your own private backyard or relax by the Pavilion and enjoy a glass of wine in front of our custom Kerrville themed mural painted by a local artist.
You'll want to be sure to look at our digital guidebook to help guide you to great restaurants, fun things to do in and around Kerrville so you get the most out of your stay. You'll be emailed a link to our Digital Guidebook before your arrival.
The Blackbuck Suite is just a few blocks from historic downtown Kerrville. We often just walk or jog down to our favorite coffee shop, PAX Coffee for a latte and scone in the mornings after our run on the River Trail. There is so much beauty to be seen here in Kerrville.
The neighborhood is older, like 1920's older, so you'll see some homes in need of repair and some that are beautifully refreshed. In the early mornings or around sunset you can see the deer stroll down the block.
Speaking of deer! There is an entire family of deer that live on our property and the one next door. Please be respectful, keep trash in the bins and keep your dogs on a leash.
Guests will be provided with a personal door code that can be accessed via key pad or app on your smart device. You'll receive emails leading up to your stay will all the details of the house, house rules once you arrive, and what our safety precautions are for our guests. We want you to feel safe and secure during your stay. If you have questions, please don't hesitate to message us through the your booking app or site.

Once you arrive, feel free to park in the driveway. There is room enough for 2 cars in front of the Suite side by side. The gate into the back yard should remain closed. This helps keep the deer out.
From the moment you open the door with your secure private access code you'll notice the large sparkling clean rooms, with attention to every detail, from the extraordinary bathroom, to the custom built Pecan shelving, hand crafted, locally sourced. Dimmers on all the lights to set your mood. No detail left unturned.
Take your pick from the modern yet masculine aire of Bedroom 1 to the softer, more romantic styling of Bedroom 2.
Once outside in the back yard you'll discover a great space to enjoy a beverage, tell stories, hang with the pup or just sit around the fire pit with a glass of Kerr County wine while making S'mores. You'll never want to leave.

We are so close to town that you could walk if you think a mile is no big deal. However, if you prefer to drive there are plenty of parking spaces and it never seems to be an issue. There are NOT many Uber's in town, so if you are going out for some adult beverages, please have a sober driver, or call a cab.

The heart of Texas Hill Country in the beautiful City of Kerrville. Just blocks from historic downtown Kerrville and the Guadalupe River Urban Trail you'll find all the comforts of home.
This fully furnished, and newly redesigned 2 bedroom and 1 bath duplex is located on the property with 2 other short term rentals. The Axis, (the sister of The Blackbuck), and The Monarch. You can rent one space or all three!
The entire Suite was designed with you in mind. From the linens to the selection of coffee. Whether you are enjoying a morning coffee on the back yard chairs, or a glass of wine during sunset on the swings at the Pavillion. We want you to enjoy and relax.
We don't recommend staying with small children as the house is NOT baby/child proofed, or have any baby amenities. However, we welcome well behaved kids both young and older. ;-)
Dogs allowed. No more than two, and there is an additional charge for dogs per night. Thank you in advance for being honest and picking up after your pooch. We do supply poop bags, and disposable food bowl in case you forget yours. Cats, Birds, Fish, Farm Animals and Reptiles are not allowed.
You will have access to a Washer / Dryer if needed. Please let us know and we'll get you access to the Laundry Shed.

We are every excited that you chose to stay with us!
We fell in love with Kerrville through the annual Kerrville Triathlon. We are avid Triathletes and we would come out here to train and race every year. In 2019 we decided that we loved it so much we wanted a home here that we could visit over and over, then we decided that an STR is really what we wanted to do. Mostly because we want all of our friends to enjoy Kerrville as much as we do. We've recommend places we love to go and things we love to do, and we hope you enjoy your stay and return often.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We originally purchased 821 Robinson Ave and fell in love with the "yellow house across the street" from sitting on the front porch of the Blue Heron Cottage. The day it went up for sale it wasn't even a questions that it was going to be ours. The bonus properties of the Axis Suite, Blackbuck Suite and The Cypress were just icing on the cake.

The Blackbuck Suite is one of 4 spaces on one property with a "community" area in the middle. The sister of The Blackbuck Suite is The Axis Suite... they are connected by a common wall. Sit in the Pavilion and watch the deer roam the property.
