Welcome to Bright Sparrow Farmhouse! Located on 8 acres of private land with greenery and a freshwater wetland lake, this home is the perfect spot to reconnect with nature and enjoy quality time with loved ones. Just 6 mins from Windham mountain, you'll be in proximity to all the best of the Catskills: skiing, hiking, biking, zip lining, water park, lakes, dining, and winery. THE SPACE
The home was recently renovated by an interior designer and features bright finishes that give the home a modern farmhouse style.

The primary master bedroom is on the first floor and features a king size bed, flat screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom. The second master bedroom is located upstairs and also features a flat screen TV and an en-suite bathroom. There are two other bedrooms upstairs, each with queen size bed, and a shared bathroom is accessed from the hallway. There is also a half bath on the first floor by the living room.

The living room has a large comfortable couch and two side chairs. Perfect spot to snuggle up by the wood burning fireplace or watch your favorite movie on the smart flat screen TV.

The kitchen features panoramic views of the mountain and lake, a large island with quartz countertop, and a pantry with wine fridge. All cooking and baking essentials are provided for the inner chefs, along with basic spices, salt, sugar, oil, coffee and tea. Plenty of dinnerware as well to enjoy those good meals.

The dining room includes a rustic table for eight and faces the outdoor deck accessed through sliding doors.

The outdoor deck has a dining table, bbq grill, and a lounging area. Directly facing the mountains and lake, this is the best spot to relax with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, and to watch the breathtaking sunset.

A few steps from the deck is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, surrounded by a vast grass area. Walk further and you'll reach the freshwater wetland lake where you can be sure to catch a paddling of ducks.

GUEST ACCESS
You will have access to the entire house (other than unfinished basement) and the 8 acre property including the yard.

The lake is part of a government designated wetlands and therefore must be respected as a natural resource and important part of Windham's ecosystem. In other words, don't boat or swim in it, but do enjoy the view!

PETS
Pets are permitted with advance notice. Please let us know if you'll be bringing a pet so we can manage the cleaning schedule and avoid potential allergy issues for future guests.

SMOKING
There is no smoking or vaping allowed inside the home.

TRASH
We provide trash bags and trash pickup. We do ask that you use the properly designated cans for waste and recycling, and that full bags be taken to a shed outside where there are large sealed bins available. We also ask that you take all leftover food and opened beverages with you.
