Visiting from BC to surprise my sister for Christmas. Trip was her Christmas gift and my wife has never been to CB. Facilities were clean and comfortable, however, going up the stairs to the room was difficult for my sister due to her bad knees, bed was a little small for my wife and I but was comfortable. The room was quiet and warm. Would stay here again.
The property was clean, and had a well equipped kitchen. The beds are doubles, queens would be much better. The bathroom has an uneven floor, with a rise that can trip you up. The towels were worn. The walls are paper thin. We felt the price was over priced for what we got.
A few positives: Great location, clean, comfortable beds, and easy check-in/check-out. However: you can hear other guests/tenants all the time, lamps were missing light bulbs, a kitchen chair was broken (too wobbly to sit on), and other details were lacking (uneven floors, kitchen basics were sparse, no spare pillows). For the price, I donât feel this place measures up. With a few repairs and more attention to detail, it could be an improved experience. Until then, Iâm sorry to say I would not re-book.
Great location in between concerts. The park was close by! Steep stairs getting up. But the view of the harbor was excellent. Windows tracks could be cleaned. Great kitchen and fully equipped! Thanks!
For the dollars spent this accommodation needs some TLC
The best part of this apt is the kitchen and the view. The kitchen is well planned and has ample pots, pans, dishes etc. Double beds are tough! Each room has a double bed. The tv was not working properly due to storm damage. The walls are paper-thin and you can hear conversations from other units. The bathroom floor has a ridge in the middle, so you can go flying in the night if you trip on it.
Overall, it was an ok stay, but very expensive for what we got!
